I've been to Club de la Cerveza twice now. The first time was in 2015 and as a proper beer nerd I checked if it still existed when we booked our trip to Mexico. Fortunately it did and it is still an amazing spot for some lovely beers. As a Dutchman I am, for obvious reasons, not bothered with the Belgian and Dutch beers, but they got am amazing European selection of beers. So if you do not have these beers available in your region they are a more than lovely choice!

The thing I like the most is the local / Mexican beers they have. Do not hesitate to tell the guys at Club de la Cerveza your preferred style, because the chances are quite significant that they have something just for you!

Great beer selection the Perro Del Mar IPA was great. Hector is a great server. Greeted us nicely and even hurried over to help my friend and I clean up a spilled drink right when it happened as he saw it from across the bar.

Fantastic beer bar! The rotating selection of beers keeps things new and they even get some rare, tough to find beers. Even had Old Rasputin russian imperial stout on draught last month! Cant ever find that in the states even.

The staff is very friendly. And they usually have good music playing. The patio is a great place to meet friends or to just relax with a tasty brew and watch the foot traffic on la Quinta.

Food is good and freshly prepared.

Definitely a must visit in playa.

It was so nice to be in a bar that actually had a good craft beer selection. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable and it was nice to sit outdoors and people watch on 5th while drinking good beer.

Beer lovers unite. Best place to get an assortment of Mexican craft beer in Playa. Tuna Turner was ‘simply the best!’

Was hunting for stout all over Playa. Even the Irish pub has no Guinness. This bar has 6, yes SIX different stout beers. Thank you for making this old aussie happy.

Nice selection of beers, Mexican and international. Also some local draft beers. The whole staff knows about beers so you can ask for recommendations depending on your mood. The burgers are delicious, perfect combination with a beer. From 22:00 on, it's getting crowded almost every day, so be patient if you need to wait for a table. Now they have wireless terminal for card payment no more standing to the bar to pay (was also nice to have a quick chat about beers) but with more people it's a better idea to don't stand in the way of the guys coming to bring happiness (in shape of beer) to the tables. Club de la Cerveza it's also a verified venue on Untappd. On Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's they have some special stuff to offer, so don't miss those dates. On tap specials every week.
