The customer service was one of the worst I have every seen at location of this stature. The front desk Manager and associate (Lady) were not trained in hospitality. If it wasn't for the amazing ambience, location, private pool area we would have left the first night.

I have never been to a 4-star hotel with such poor service and strict rules. To set the context, I came to the Aldea Thai for a 2-month stay (To work remotely during winter in NYC)

First on the service point, from moment one you can tell that the staff is not trained properly. They were very rude and unaccomidating. In addition they have a series of rules they brushed over, but I highly suggest you ask them to explain in detail.

Second, on the strict rules. The Aldea Thai does not allow outside guests and if you bring any they will estort you and ask you to pay more money.

Overall sketchy establishment, and you can get much better for the money.

Watch out it is à scam this hôtel in association with thé Condo owner.

First he takes your Phone an enter his Email and say that hé did it wrong in EURO.
And THE second HE GIVE YOU À EMAIL AND PUT THE PAIEMENT IN PESOS AND IT TRANSFERS ok
ESCROQUERIE
But two daY later first paypal send on A """wrong""" adresse mail is cashed.

Don’t go here this place lies about having open rooms for our group then wait for us to get there to tell us Gerardo was the rudest host I’ve ever met. I’d give it zero stars

Customer service is deplorable. Employees are rude and useless. General service is so bad I wouldn’t recommend this place to the worst person in the world. Which, ironically, is probably someone from this horrible hotel !!!!

We stayed in room 129. The apartment really nice, clean and well maintained, staffs friendly. Cutely well maintained and clean, you don’t need to clean again. Location, the best, just few meters of the beach. You have two beach club to use, it’s not free or parts of the condominium. This two beach club have an agreement with Aldea Thai.
