Excellent Mezcaleria with small batch artisanal Mezcals from respected Mezcaleros and Mezcaleras from local villages in Oaxaca. They will also sell cups by the ounce so you can try more. Very friendly and English spoken. A cool courtyard with many agaves growing and a very cool mural. I highly recommend this place for Mezcal nerds and Mezcal newbies for top shelf Mezcal‘s at reasonable prices.

Cozy, comfortable space with a nice terrace and great selections. The owner, Juan, is passionate about mezcal u0026 it shows. We ended up doing a mezcal tasting with him through airbnb experiences - it was a highlight of our trip. He also has a program with underemployed youth to help give them work experience. They prepare u0026 serve vegetarian food in the mornings I believe. I highly recommend visiting Espacio Mezcal while in Oaxaca.

I'm glad I went there to try mezcal! Great explanation from plant to drinking :) And after all, good talk with open minded bartender. I really recommend!

Went here for a mezcal tasting and Martin gave us a little tasting session where we learned so much. Martin and the crew are chill and welcoming. If you only have time to visit one mezcaleria while you're in Oaxaca, make it Espacio

Amazing bar in Oaxaca. The owners are passionate about Mezcal and generous with their knowledge and time. The place is very beautiful and the music is great (ignore the review below)!

We did a Mezcal tasting and class here through Airbnb Experiences. So delightful, educational and fun! Highly recommend.

Staff was very knowledgeable about their mezcal! Great place to sample and learn. Very cozy.
