My wife and I shared plates of lasagna and fettuccine bolognese and were completly seduced by the flavors of the cheese and the bolognese. The red table wine and bread served alongside put it over the top. We want to come back tomorrow for their pizza, but unfortunately they are closed on Wednesdays. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Oaxaca.

As I was discovering the beautiful paths of Oaxaca, I stumbled upon an Italian restaurant. This restaurant “La Rustica” is a very clean and a great place to take your family out. I highly would recommend chicken Alfredo pasta. As far as the appetizer, I recommend the avocado calamari. The pizza was very good and well cooked. I usually don’t eat crust but the crust was very delicious. The pizza we ordered was “the rustic” and “pepperoni.” The service is great and the way the restaurant is set up, makes you feel like your actually in Italy. Place is beautiful and cozy. The wait for the food is short and the pizzas are great!
