I would give ten stars if I could. Not only was Omar our server professional, attentive, and kind, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and mezcal. He explained the origins, process and traditions of the foods and beverages thoroughly. The food was by far the best we've had, far better than the "tour guide recommendations" and foodie websites we went to. Try the "mini quesillos", taco crocante, mole coloradito with beef tongue, and coconut shrimp! If you have time order an Irish coffee with house made cream... Out of this world!

Everything I've eaten was very tasty and had an original presentation. The service is careful. Highly recommended. Also this in a super easy place to find for tourists!

On a busy day, without a reservation, they set up a table, found a couple chairs and served us a delicious meal.

Everything was excellent ???? The food compliments the service. The kids had a great experience as well.

This is not a food review.
We were walking around and just wanted to have a cold beer to relax. I expressed that as we entered. They bombarded us with a hard sell for the whole time we were there. Trying to get us to eat and then putting products on our table to pitch them to us.

The food was really disappointing, regular flavor and small quantities for overpriced dishes. I really wouldn’t mind the price if the food was good, but I’m sure you can get way better food somewhere else in Oaxaca’s downtown (there are a lot of options).

The only note to keep in mind is that my experience was during the Independence Day, I don’t know if the quality was lower than usual because of the festivities. (The only reason I give 2 stars, the benefit of the doubt)
