The food here is actually spectacular! First off though, the cuisine is not Mexican. It is more continental with an Italian bent. They feature freshly baked bread, a wood oven pizza, and great quality seafood. The shrimp pasta here featured enormous shrimp. The bread served was a delicious cheese bread and it was heavenly. And for an American tourist, the prices were excellent. My salmon plate was $12! Unbelievable!

Went with my friend and I ordered salmon and he ordered chicken. Waiter wrote the order on a pad and even said it back to make sure it was correct. My friend’s meal came. We thought maybe it’s taking longer to cook salmon. 10 mins go by and we waived waiter asking for my dish. He said he forgot ! How did he forget? 1 star for the fantastic singer!

We ate here twice in three days because the food and service was impeccable. Angel, our waiter, was great. He introduced us to the head chef, Joshua, who was an absolute pleasure to watch in the kitchen.

This is for La Azotea on the third floor rooftop area. Service was good. Food was average. My pasta carbonara could have been warmer and the salmon was a bit overcooked.

We were on the third floor, outdoors. There was a 2 piece band playing. The music was good, but they were so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation, nor could the waitress hear us for our order. For a place like this, the dinner band needs to be background music, not foreground music. Loud music? I love it in a bar and when dancing, but an, "artisanal dinner" place as they describe it.

Finished dinner and skipped more drinks and dessert.

Live music was great! Angle was so friendly and knowledgeable. The passion fruit cocktail was the best drink of our trip so far. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food and excellent service! Angel and Alda were wonderful and our meal was very good. Nice atmosphere with a view of Santa Domingo - and the dessert trilogy was SO GOOD!

We’ve ordered 2 dishes:
Steak and fruit salad.
Steak was to dry and hard to chew.
Fruit salad had entirely moldy raspberries.

The salad was excluded from the bill, however nobody tried to say sorry or offer something.
