Cool atmosphere with a good selection of traditional dishes. It's a restaurant for a tequila brand so they have plenty of beverage choices. The design was cool. I probably wouldn't come back, but it was still a good meal. The music choices were interesting and didn't really fit the vibe.

This is one of my favorite places to return to every time I visit Oaxaca. The food is consistently. Excellent, the service is great. This time around I even had breakfast here and it was very good too. All-around great choice for any time of the day if you are visiting Oaxaca.

A superb venue for quality Mezcal and food in the centre of Oaxaca. We went for Mezcal cocktails and botana (snacks).

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Not surprising, given that this business of crafting Mezcal has been in the same family for five generations.

A large bar area with very good hot food options. Within the same building you will find Cafe Tradicion.

Good value and excellent quality of service and care.

Thanks to charming and educated #elguiajorge (he is on here as Jorge Octavio Siguenza Pliego) for his introduction to this place. This was after a fabulous and very friendly walking tour of Oaxaca with him.

Great meal and wonderful service! Memlitas with octopus beans and guacamole, mushrooms and cotija cheese, squash blossom and Oaxaca cheese. So delicious! Followed it up with a dessert they called "Grandma's corn pancake" which was like a corn souffle drizzled with a burnt sugar syrup. Incredible! Paired the meal with some delightful beverages!

Oaxaca, Mexico was absolutely beautiful! Expendio Tradicion was so delicious! The fish Toca's were so good and the Mezcal was delicious. I cannot wait to go back and visit my friend who moved there! Beautiful restaurant!

We had dinner there (2 person). Unfortunately they could not manage to bring the food at the same time. This is something i expect in a restaurant which wants to play in the higher leagues.

The creamy soup was very delicious. The steak (no picture) comes without any sidedishes so you end up eating meat only. The filet was nice and the potato interesting to taste.

This is my favorite spot to eat/drink in the city of Oaxaca. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are flavorful and unique. Definitely try the ceviche, aguachiles, and the colibrí drink. They go so well together!
