I rate it mediocre since it was not fantastic. I had the club which came with fries, and the weakest part of the sandwich was the bread which was thin and soggy. Service was also average. Compared to some of the neighbouring restaurants in the square the prices were good.

The service was horrible! I don't know if it is because we are foreigners, but they were really unfriendly and seemed to be bothered by us. Our waitress forgot a drink, in the hot chocolate was a dead bee, they managed to bring us two straws after we have reminded them three times. If you want to eat or drink at the zócalo chose another restaurant! Also paying was exhausting, because we had to tell them four times until they came.

Nora , Vicky , Ana , Leonor , Laura , are amazing waitresses! I am a regular here , the coffee latte made by the barista Edwardo is fantastic .

Extrimely friendly place with good quality lokal live music and dance. That's bar where locals come to może their feet. Good food and mezcal, bot overpriced. Highly reccomended!

It's so nice to get into a restaurant in the centre of a city, in the most touristic place, and they don't kill you with the prices. The food is good enough and they have nice breakfasts.

Location was nice and central but very touristy- in a city with such great food options this was a bit disappointing. Staff was friendly and maybe good for coffees and pastries but wouldn’t recommend for lunch or dinner.

"El mejor café del sureste de mexico" -- yeah right. Their cappucino was like 95% milk and 5% espresso. At least thats what it tasted like. No different than ordering just frothed milk. Im looking for a real brew, not watered (milked?) down.

To the owners: want to know what a real latte should taste like? Come down to Casa Oaxaca hotel (we were staying there) and order one.

The Pan de Yema bread was fine i suppose.
Why not 1 star? Because of the central location.
