We arrived to what seemed an empty restaurant on a Friday night. Immediately we were greeted and seated. A few minutes later our server arrived. I don’t know if he was in the middle of a double or a long shift, but he showed facial expressions of discomfort. We asked for drinks and water. The water never showed up (by the way, we only got one refill on that water in the whole evening). Finally, food starts coming out. It was superb. But service never improved. I wish I could remember this guy’s name. Not to get him in trouble but to assure he is well aware of his performance and can improve it. At that, he didn’t even introduced himself.
We spent a good amount of money there and tipped him very generously. I’m in the same field and can imagine his salary. But trust me, someone else, like my partner, would have left a lot less.
