I was denied entry by the Security Guard because I had a bottle of alcohol with me. He harassed me until I decided to just ignore him and continue my way.

He was extremely rude. I would understand if I was to consume it at the pool area (which is closed “due to renovations”), lobby or party at the hotel but that’s not the case - and I informed him of this.

The WiFi is incredibly slow. Even with full bars, we just turned it off.

There was a safety hazard in the elevators. They were also slow and I believe only one out of three were working.

Only thing I liked was the bed and pillows. They were comfortable.

Bathroom door didn’t close properly, water came out in many ways spilling everything (both sink and bath). I do not recommend this hotel.

Several doors in the room did not close properly including the bathtub door, the bathroom door did not lock and door knob was very loose and the front door did not lock and the door was bent. No hot water and The towels smelled bad, the room had a bad smell and the air did not cool well in the room. In both of the rooms were the same problems. And in one of them they did not give us a refrigerator and in the room that if it came it did not cool well. The elevators did not work well only one worked without problems on several occasions the doors closed and did not move or open. The room cards were deprogrammed and another thing that they did not inform us at the time of booking the hotel was about the pools being closed. On the subject of vehicle parking, when I booked the hotel I wanted me to be able to park my own vehicle but being at the hotel they did not give me an option and they said that I had to pay 50 pesos per day for valet and they had to park my vehicle. Personally, I didn't like that. One shouldn't be forced to hand over their vehicle to anyone. The next day I see that other visitors at the hotel parked their own vehicle without any problem and they had the option while we did not.

Made a reservation through booking but ended up being charged more for an “extra person” even though I set the reservation for 2 people per room. Additionally, with the price of the room it included breakfast per guest but we were asked to pay a additional fee even though we already paid the fee for an additional person.

The rooms were ok but nothing to write off.

The hotel is in a very convenient area with lots of potential for sight seeing and local cuisine to enjoy.

Overall the hotel is ok but do not recommend any off the food. Just stick to the regular deluxe room and skip the suite/breakfast.

This. Is. An. Awful. Hotel.

Do not consider staying here.

To be clear, this could be a decent place to stay in Monterrey.  But, in its current state, the management is bad, and the upkeep is worse.  Sad too, as it is beautifully located and photographs well.  I

When I tried to check in, reservations were not found, even after I showed confirmation number (made directly thru Krystal).  Front desk agent accused me of booking wrong date.  (Sadly right date, but as I'd learn, wrong hotel to have picked at all) Check in painfully slow.

Only one elevator working of three.  In a 15 story building.  Sometimes resorted to using service elevator instead.

Room in ok condition.   Scuffed walls. (Hotel needs a good interior paint job actually) No hair dryer.  Requested one, never came.

Moved to junior suite after one night.  No hot water, toilet runs.  Told hotel.  Never fixed.  No hot shower for four nights.  Toilet continued to ghost flush every 20 minutes or so.

Leaks throughout hotel.  On 9th floor, ceiling opened up and puddles formed on floor outside elevator.

Wifi poor.  Could only access in lobby.  Told management and they suggested that I move to lobby to complete work.

Room attendant cleaned room without mask or gloves. So much for much vaunted COVID precautions.

No water in pool. Gym sad.

One small bottle of water, not replaced. Had to hunt down room attendant for more water.  No coffee maker, hall coffee or coffee set-up for morning guests.

Curtain pull, detached, on floor.

Woody laminate floor, beginning to cup.

No washcloths.

Most walls stained or marred.  Rooms need a good painting.

Krystal should be embarrassed that a well located asset is so poorly run and maintained.  Until they get their act together, stay away.

Of course I would stay here again, the thing is that there was a little problem when I did the check in at 4:00pm the room that I reserved wasn't ready yet. The personnel wanted to help but they wanted me to wait one hour and I hadn't eaten, so they solved the problem, other than that the hotel is nice and the location is really convenient

They go well above and beyond what I would expect of a 3 star rating. Excellent. I would recommend to anyone wanting quality accommodations at a great price.

Wifi is free, slow and blocks all streamibg services (HBO, Disney, STAR, ect). Hot water in the shower is really cold water, in my three days I had to take cold showers...
