The hotel was very old we moved rooms 3 times to see if we could get cold air conditioning in the hot summer and even though the manager Fernando tried his best to accommodate us I ended sleeping in an 82 deg room. The breakfast they offer is sub par at best. We will not be staying here again warning to those who go it’s old and ancient but good customer service it’s like camping outside with cable tv.

Hot and humid! The whole hotel was muggy and no you cannot control the temperature in your room. As many times as I changed the thermometer it never got colder. This hotel is climate controlled by staff/corporate and It is very uncomfortable. Staff was nice, breakfast was good but I wouldn’t stay here again because it felt gross n humid

The front desk was amazing . Luis was exceptional. Wait staff is beyond courteous. Housekeeping was extremely efficient in making sure everything was wiped down constantly. Breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive

Holiday Inn Galerías could be not the best hotel of the IHG chain in Monterrey but certainly is not the worst either. I mean let's be honest, to me you're paying the right price for the stay. You can go to other IHG hotels in Valle Oriente, just a few minutes drive and the price will go up almost the double.

Now going back to the hotel review. I've seen many others and honestly don't know why one of their major complains are that they couldn't lower or increase the air conditioning because it was the first thing I do when enter into a hotel room as to me is always freezing, and I was able to manipulate without a problem.

The hotel facilities are ok, clean, neat, and shiny. Even though I stayed at that sameplace back in the nineties, to me looks good ????.

There's two things I would mention. First thing is that the pool wasn't at the best conditions in terms of cleaning and apparently they are short on hotel staff. Could be because we are just surfacing from a two years hiatus worldwide and those are signs of that ? I want to think is because of that.

On the other hand, the personnel I ran into were humble and eager to help. Can't really complain about a thing. Well, there is a thing and maybe is the reason why I gave 4 stars to the room and is the fact that there's still bathtub. Please ???? get rid of it and specially in a city like Monterrey. We have to start think different in terms of use water responsibly.

Do not recommend this hotel, the worst Holiday inn i'v ever been to. train passes across the street and blows the horn in the middle of the night. rooms are damp and smell, had to check out early and charged me the full stay - so painful to get a reimbursement.

Stayed one night only while waiting to commute to McAllen. The hotel and the rooms were clean. The hotel decor needs updating. Water pressure on the shower is very weak. Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. It is a little far away from Central Monterrey, so budget a little more for transportation. I don’t think I will stay here again given the ample choices of accommodations Monterrey has.

I loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was great and were able to accommodate our requests. We arrived a bit early and were so tired from the drive and tjey managed to book us in early since room was available. The service during breakfast was also very good. They were very friendly.
