Delicious Peruvian place (more on the Peruvian-Mexican fusion side). Great place to sit outdoors on a hot day, drink cold white wine and eat fresh food. Stick to their cebiches, they’re all amazing.

I was looking for a Peruvian restaurant in Mexico City and found a few of them. This one was one of them. I went there with an expectation of classic Peruvian dishes but didn’t find too many. This was more of a cevicheria and seafood restaurant. I decided to get myself a papa a la huancaina and a ceviche carretillero. Both dishes came out delicious. Reminded me of Peru. There was just a system error on their printed menu which said that their ceviche carretillero didn’t have shrimp so I order it since I’m allergic to shrimp, but when I got the ceviche, it had shrimp. They were quick to change the plate so no biggie. I should of gotten a discount for that but whatever. As far the flavor of the food and its authenticity, it was quite delicious and tasted like food in Peru. Only Peruvians know what good Peruvian food taste like. It’s just embedded in them from mom’s and family cooking. Their chef is also Peruvian and trained by Gaston Acurio so you know you’re getting authentic Peruvian food.

Well, why 4 stars?
The first is because of their low amount of classical Peruvian dishes

I asked for chicha morada and they said they ran out. I asked for inka cola they said they ran out, but they were quick to push me to buy an alcoholic drink to try to increase the check.

Overall , go ahead and try them. Their food is delicious.

My recommendation for them is to add ceviche tacos for those Mexicans who can’t eat their food with out tortillas.

At least to get them to try what Peruvian ceviche taste like.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the food

Any ways. Follow me for more Peruvian food reviews around the world

We got the empanada starter which was great and then the veggie stir fry and shrimp stir fry which was drenched in oil and lacked flavour. You do get a really big portion.

Service is very slow but drinks were good. Overpriced for what we got

Grew up in Peru and all of the flavors brought me back! The beef heart anticucho is a must and loved the shrimp empanadas. Fresh ceviche is always a star

Great Peruvian restaurant in the city, it was superb. We had the tequeños as a starter, they are filled with beef and wrapped in flour tortillas with a red pepper sauce. The filling was very flavoury and the sauce was an excellent complement. Then we had the Causa Miraflorina, Chaufa tapado and Seco de Asado de Tira. The causa was a delicious, the combination of potatoes, avocado, shrimp and quail eggs with cocktail sauce was bang on! Then my favourite dish of the njght was the chaufa, the explosion of flavours in that rice is definitely something that will bring me back to this amazing place! What an experience! The seco was the weakest link in our order and the only reason I'm giving 4 stars (it should be 4.5.
Service was excellent and so were the drinks. We didnt have the ceviche but would be deffo on my list next time I go.

The food was not cooked evenly. The vegetables had way too much MSG. Ginger lemonade over 4. Not worth the price with ordinary presentation.
