We had such a wonderful and educational visit to the Anthropology Museum with Milton that we booked a tour of Teotihuacán with him a few days later. While one could spend a lifetime and only scratch the surface of the Anthropology Museum, Milton showed us some of the highlights of the collection. He told stories, explained the significance of the objects in context, and drew connections across regions, time periods and cultures that added so much depth to our visit. This was my second time at the museum, and this tour added so much to my understanding.
Later in the week, Milton picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Teotihuacán. Milton taught us so much about the pyramids, the civilization that existed there, and the archeological work that persists to this day. However, an added bonus was that Milton was able to expand on many of the items that we saw at the Anthropology Museum that were found in that area.
In addition to being highly informative and educational, Milton was so much fun to be around, and his passion for history, culture, archeology, and CDMX more broadly, really shined through. I will highly recommend Milton and Urban Day Trips to everyone I know visiting CDMX and can’t wait to do another tour with Milton when I’m back in the city next!
