I have not been to Mexico City since 2012. A lot has changed in a decade. The Santa Fe area as it is now was nothing like it before. In fact -- I think it was the city dump area! But now it is thriving with great restaurants and hotels. My stay at the Westin was made that much more enjoyable by the new GM Joel Martin and the wonderful restaurant staff who treated me -- solo female business traveller with great care and attention. I invited a business colleague I hadn't seen since my last trip to stay for dinner and the staff -- from check Erick Escalante and Captain Noe Obispo to servers Eduardo, Jesus and Armando took great care of us. They made it a wonderful return to Mexico City

We went to the spa last Thursday and it was not an enjoyable experience. We had a massage and a facial. The employees are not experienced and we left more stressed than relaxed. I wouldn’t recommend their spa services.

Yesterday an explotion was hidden , all guests stepped out on their own account since the management refused to activate the alarm, we were allowed a few hours later but had not been told what happened... not the reaction one would expect from a Westin level hotel

Although my time at the hotel was very short many months ago I had a very positive and memorable experience. Thank you for the kind welcome at the hotel Jessie from the moment I walked in until leaving. I love the rooftop breakfast and lounge area and look forward to coming back for a longer visit this year next time I am in Santa Fe.

Extremely rude concierge/tall sullen receptionist. He basically told me to be quiet when I complained about going back and forward between the reception and the restaurant. For water. Poorly trained restaurant staff. The waiter came to my room with the do not disturb sign, to demand payment. The concierge had told me I could settle my bill at the end of my stay. The room temperatures are far from accurate. The manager was kind enough to help but it was still the worst stay of my life. What’s the point of having Gold Elite status?

Most comfortable bed ever of my 21 days in CDMX !! The room was huge with great views and the breakfast had a good variety. The dinner was not so great, although the carrot almond soup was delicious, I had to return my main as the salmon wasn't in good state. But the stuff very attentive delivered wonderful service !
