Quiet. Secure. Pet friendly. Clean. No frills. No coffee. No laundry services near by. Character building. Rooms were quite chilly as there were no heating options. Fantastic location. Many restaurants and easy access to metro.

The photos are deceiving and the booking company said it was an 8/10. It's more like a 4. The first room had the arm rest sections of the couch worn thru and the bed was collapsed on one side from a lack of rotation or just over use. There was some light hammering next door so I asked to be moved to another unit. The 2nd unit was a 6. Well lit, bath off the living room (moldy but clean...) The shower handle was terrifying, you have to pull out to get the water on. But the base is loose so at first you think you are gonna pull it out of the wall. The bed was much better.

Good wifi, pretty quiet (at least during the weekdays) and a great location. This are all fitted with a fold out couch and kitchenette. A guest was smoking periodically in the courtyard but the smell didn't make it into the unit. Ragged towels. But they did the job.

Clean but zero maintenance.

It is clearly not comparable to european standards. But we enjoyed being here anyway.

Negative:
- Some parts clearly need some professional maintenance.
- No toilet brush available. (Trust me, it is a must have tool when dealing with mexican food.)
- Room smells a little bit like humidity.

Positive:
- Staff is very friendly.
- I have the feeling it is a save place.
- The bed is confortable.
- Acceptable clean.
- Calm place. (At least our apartment.)
- Metro station nearby.
- Very close to a big park.
- Very close to many good restaurants. (As probably everywhere in Mexico.)
- Good price.

I really like the location, the rooms are nice and very classical, and the staff is really helpful and accommodating. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star stay was intermittent hot water. In their defense, I never said anything about it to them, I just took a couple of cold showers. 4.5 is my actual rating.

If it was advertised as a 2 star hostel style lodge, I would have rated with 3 ????. For a 4 ???? suit I can only say that I disliked it. Rooms smelled damp and furniture is really old and almost falling apart. The wall behind the bed had half a meter of damp! Ifou are traveling with 4 friends just for partying maybe it's your place, but if you want to unwind on a couch after a long walking day, avoid it. To be fair, location is very good and the communal 'patio' internal garden beautiful and atmospheric. Last thing that make me give it a 2 ???? when actually 1 ???? is deserved, very cooperative in offering me another room (all were similar) and the cancellation fee was waved

Chaotic. We arrived at midnight having booked, to be told that our room was no longer available and were sent to another hotel. We were assured that our room would be availble the next day, so we returned only to find that the price had tripled overnight - tripled - and the room we were being offered was windowless and bleak. The place seems, in addition, to be falling down, great holes in the roof. Rip-off merchants.

Really nice accomodation in a very nice neighbourhood. The rooms are clean and have everything you might need for a pleasant stay in this amazing city. I especially liked the courtyard, which, in my opinion, has a really special and nice vibe to it.
