Warm and welcoming atmosphere with great music. Immediately greeted with the smell of quality steaks on the grill. Incredibly attentive service and fantastic food cooked to perfection with unbeatable prices for the quantity and quality of food served. Absolutely do not miss the opportunity to eat here if you're visiting Mexico City!

I can't recommend this place. We went for a friend's birthday dinner last night and have to say the food was very sub par. I only ordered the ensalada provoleta and had a glass of the house white wine. The wine was not good and very overpriced. I paid $11 for the glass and I could barely drink two sips. The salad was just meh.. it tasted like a side salad to be honest. My friends ordered steak, which came out extremely rare (they ordered medium well). The provoleta is literally just a hunk of hot cheese. The bread they serve at the table is not good either. The only thing I really liked that I tried were the salsas (chimichurri, salsa Verde, and some other with beans and oil). Oh, and the chocolate cake for the birthday girl was good to me. Some said it was too rich, but I love chocolate so I felt it was delicious. So I guess, you could go for dessert and maybe a coffee or carajillo, but that isn't the point of this restaurant is it? I only got a pic of the cake, as you can see it's a good portion. As far as ambiance, it's hard to pinpoint. There are TV screens everywhere and old fashioned wood furnishings, so it kinda feels like a pub. Would not recommend for a date or group dinner. ????

Toughest steak ever. Ordered the picana medium but it came out rare (see photo). I don’t mind rare steaks and while this one tasted good it was tough as shoe leather. Had to ask for a sharper knife which didn’t help.
When I complained to manager he offered to cook it more. I only laughed.
The Super Bowl was on TV so the waiters and cooks were more interested in the game and didn’t notice me (or didn’t care) trying to hacksaw my way through the steak.

I hope the owner is noticing the trend of bad reviews.

I had a few meals here, and the experience was pleasant and the food of a good standard.

However at the end of my last meal, I paid with a card. The waiter clearly charged me twice and this appears on my bank statement. I showed the staff the statement and they were completely unresponsive and unhelpful. After having to speak to my bank, they confirmed that the merchant needed to reverse the payment or reimburse me.

I went back to the restaurant and they instructed me to wait one day and if the transaction had not been reverted, they would reimburse me. I waited several days and returned, and the staff were once again completely unhelpful, making me wait for one hour for the 'senior manager' to arrive. The manager then, point blank denied the conversation we had on Friday and said there was nothing they could do.

As of this moment, the situation remains unresolved and the restaurant has effectively stolen my money. The senior staff have no idea how to communicate with customers, and due to their intransigence and incompetence, I have wasted countless hours. Strongly recommend to avoid this place, unless you want to play double and then be trapped in a confusing bureaucratic nightmare.

Tranquil space. We sat upstairs and had excellent service. It was really quiet on a Monday.
To start they served us three salsas with bread and tortilla chips that were all delicious. My favourite was the pesto style.
I had creamed spinach, carne empanada and a small salad. My date had the chicken fajitas.
Serving size was good, the tastes were all delightful.
I would recommend this place to friends. Would like to return with a larger party to try more shared plates.
Thank you!

Here is the story. I am wait 40 minutes for my steak with 3/4. When I got my steak is raw like 1/2. Then I have to wait 15 minutes to cook again. When I complain it. Manager told me and loud: that’s 3/4 as you order! What? I’m not comfortable with his attitude. We don’t really enjoy the food and service there. Then we not really finished the food. Later manager bring us cafe and cake to apologize his service.
Here is point: the cake is fantastic! If you come to this steak restaurant. You don’t need to order any meat. But please don’t miss this cake!!! ???? that’s why I only put picture of cake!!!
When we left. Manager apologized again. He would like to service us again. Thanks but no thank. I may come back here for this cake. ????
Just don’t missed cake here!!
