Tried the 9 course tasting: Top service with really great food, using very traditional ingredients but still manage to deliver different flavours in each dish. You can expect a calm ambience, better for family gatherings in my opinion. Only negative detail is that the toilet was a bit dirty which is not something you would expect in a place like this.

We enjoyed every bite of our 9-course tasting menu dinner. The service and the wine were outstanding as well. Great cosy atmosphere that's also chic at the same time. The food is on the saltier side, but this is exactly how we like it!

Came for my birthday and was expecting excellent food, service and drinks. We had the 9 course meal and the asparagus and the fish were amazing! The rest were Blah or salty! The service was super rushed and it felt that our waitress didn’t want to waitress. We ordered our cocktails and got them by our 3rd course…disappointed! Then by the 5th course we asked for a bottle of wine and got our 6th, 7th course and nothing. ???????? Music was super loud that our waitress couldn’t even hear what we said. Had to ask twice to turn it down. I came for the weekend to CDMX and wished I had gone to another place. Also, washroom were not clean. Wow! This place should NOT be in the top 100 CDMX places. Live and learn!

This is a great place for dinner. Perfect sized restaurant, not too big and not too small. I really enjoyed the fact there wasn't any music played which made the convo my wife and I were having very pleasant. We've been to a number of places here to eat where the music was so loud we could barely hear each other.

We chose to have the tasting menu for dinner. They have the option of a 6 or 9 courses, we went for 6. The drink menu is not too big, which isn't a problem. They were able to make a non alcoholic Mojito for me. The staff did a great job explaining each dish. More importantly this place is very affordable. I would highly recommend Raiz and when we have visitors we will definitely suggest eating here to them.

This was our splurge dinner while visiting Mexico City with 7 other friends. My favorite dish was the tacos. While admittedly I loved some of the street tacos I had more than these, they were still a 5/5 rating.

Outstanding new Mexican restaurant, with grandma's traditional recipies, using true original national ingredients for through out the country. The place is elegant and cozy. The service is fast and neat. They have a great selection of wine and spirits. You'll find the owner usually searching for everything to be perfect in your meal experience

Very nice place, cozy, romantic, great ambience. Good music selection and not too loud. The menu was great. Went there for the “Noche Mexicana” dinner. They had unlimited white and red wine and tequila. Service was really great, organized, fast, attentive. The manager was super efficient. I tried some street food like fried tacos, pata tostada, crab empanada, and a small tlacoyo. The main dishes were pozole (tasty) and the superb chile en nogada (what a dish!). Desserts included arroz con leche, chocolate molten cake, churros with cajeta, and the traditional capirotana. Definitely a great option to eat in Polanco. I will go back soon for sure.
