Outstanding hostel located in one of Mexico City’s best neighborhoods. Close to so many amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Paulina is so nice! Really loved the rooftop vibe and the full kitchen was great too. This was a perfect place to meet people, as the common area was always filled with new friends to make. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a private room here for 4 nights. The best thing about this hostel is the location. Super close to amazing restaurants and cafes and only a 2km walk to the Historic Centre and just under that to the Anthropology Museum which was fantastic. The rooftop deck was also super great.

The room was a good size however this place is the nosiest hostel I’ve stayed in. You can hear every movement in every room and outside, and some of the staff are super loud and singing until 2am or talking with people very loudly before 6am. I woke up several times every night because of this. Granted we are right next to reception but this shouldn’t be an issue. There should be quiet time like most hostels.

We also only had one hot shower each for our whole stay. Absolutely freezing water every other time. We also had to remind them to provide toilet paper more than once.

I would recommend staying if these things don’t bother you but I personally probably wouldn’t stay again.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in during my travels through all of Mexico. The owner is so helpful and knowledgeable about literally *everything* to do or see in the city. The volunteers are approachable and understanding. The hostel, beautifully designed with plenty of space and *great* showers, has a laid-back vibe while also being easy to meet new people. All of this... topped off with the location being the best! La Roma is the perfect getaway... inside the busy city. Highly recommended :)

Nice hostel, great to meet people. Rooftop terrace is really nice. Good work spaces. Could be a bit cleaner and some of the bathrooms smell terrible. It is possible to steer clear of those though. The staff are really friendly apart from one blonde girl. Good value for money and the location is amazing.

It probably only has good reviews because you get a discount on your booking when you leave a good review.. I’m incredibly disappointed by the hostel and would everyone advise to not stay here! On arrival I had to pay way more money than initially booked and because they mixed up the booking I could only stay two instead of three nights. When I asked for the original price I was laughed at..During my stay my jacket got stolen out of my room, I heard from two others that their purse got stolen. Also the fridge didn’t work for days, nobody told us, I had medicine in there that needed to be cooled. The bathrooms are filthy, also there are not enough for the people that are staying in the dorms.

Amazing hostel, amazing staff and facilities. Great location with everything you need near by. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Had an amazing stay would definitely recommend staying

We stayed at this hostel and had a good time, and booked to come back a week later before our flight after being told that we would get a discount if we write a review for the hostel. Of course we did that. The day before coming back for the second time, an unfortunate personal matter came up and we had to change our flight to the next day-the day of the check-in. On the way to the airport we stopped by the hostel to cancel our booking due to the unexpected events. We came across the employee that wouldn’t let us cancel the booking with no fee after asking the horrible owner that talked in a very bad manner, did not in any way try to understand our situation and even threatened us. We had the worst experience with the employee and the owner who made us pay the night we did not stay, didn’t give us the discount that was promised when writing a review and charged us more than the room was worth (the prices were written on the wall of the hostel).
DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE
