I recommend this place. We sat at the bar and had a great time interacting with the chefs. The omakase is awesome, despite the low price. I eat a lot of sushi, read about sushi and even make my own. I think this is a better place than most that I've had. The atmosphere is fun and the food is great.

Decided to come try Gin Chan after reading all the great reviews! This place has fresh fish, great vibes, and such kind servers! We had the omakase and was very satisfied with the quality! We had such an amazing meal and experience here and will be coming back again before we leave CDMX

We were so happy to find this phenomenal sushi spot in Roma Norte. The quality of the fish is incredible, there is a terrific Omakase menu, and lots of à la carte options for sashimi, nigiri, oysters, and more. There is a great selection of sakes, as well as some nice cocktails. The staff is friendly and talented, and the restaurant has a nice indoor/outdoor vibe.

Outstanding and traditional sushi place. Fresh u0026 high quality fish. You will find here fish not available in many/other high quality sushi restaurants in the city. Examples include salmon toro (only place I’ve found it in the city), tuna toro Kama, and sweet shrimp.

Must try!

The place was our go-to spot for late dinners as we lived close by. Every Thu is a ramen day and they make it different each week but come early as they run out of it quickly. Our seafood ramen was right on point! Good sushi, sashimi and miso soup. Fresh fish and oysters. Likes the service as well.

Amazing experience. We had the omakase menu plus the foie gras sandwich. Staff was amazing. Food was amazing. Presentation and Japanese pottery a lovely touch.
Hot sake was delicious :)

really good fresh fish but expensive. small menu as it’s mostly a sushi place. got the negi toro maki (very good), spicy tuna rolls (nothing special), sashimi plate 3 types (just alright unless you can pick your fish), nigiri: toro, salmon belly, yellowtail belly, sardine. nigiri pieces were good. definitely coming back to try the grilled sardines. update - had to take a star off bc found a dead fly in my miso soup takeout ????. but friendly staff.
