Great free walking tour! The tour glide was wonderful. We walked throughout the historical district and visited the many sites. Churches, plazas, ruins, post office and even the largest best bakery I have ever seen. You can't believe that a bakery could have such a selection of wonderful baked goods. The post office was amazing to go through. Of course, the must see churches and ruins are explained in detail by your guide. The tour lasts for three hours, but can go over. This was a pleasurable experience and I learnt a lot about the culture and history of the people and what has happened throughout the centuries to make Mexico City what it is today. Great way to visit a special place in Mexico. I recommend it highly!

Went on the mural tour with Emiliano and had such a wonderful time! He was so passionate and knowledgeable about all the murals we saw and such a genuinely kind person. Would absolutely use this company again and I highly recommend Emiliano!

Went to the most incredible places/buildings in the city and learnt so much from Andres who is not only incredibly knowledgeable about all the history of Mexico, but is clearly so passionate about what he does and it made the tour a pure joy (his English is also impeccable). I’ve been on plenty of walking tours to know that this is a great one! Highly recommend

I recently took two tours during the span of one week with “Mexico à pie” with my wife and her parents during our first trip to Mexico. The first was a group tour exploring the history of Mexico while walking around the city centre. Our guide, Andres, was amazing. So knowledgeable, engaging, and kind. Three hours with him felt like having a fun conversation while strolling around an interesting place. He was accommodating to different walking abilities and ages. We liked him so much we booked a second tour with the company. This was private visit to Teotihuacán and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadeloupe, this time with Oscar. Again, so knowledgeable, fun, kind and accommodating. He tailored the trip exactly to our needs. Both guides brought their own insights and perspectives to the tours, and shared a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm. Booking the tours over WhatsApp was very easy. Value for money was high. “Mexico à pie” is an excellent company and I would recommend their tours to everyone who is visiting Mexico City.

The walking tour has been delivered by a very knowledgeable guide around the historic centre of the city. We were walked around the main historical features and delighted with historical facts and anecdotes which allowed anyone to learn more about Mexican and pre-hispanic history. The tour lasted about 3 hours and really brought added value for a first time visitor which wants to enjoy a morning in the city. The balance between walking time and amlunt of information delivered was also well studied as the experience was pleasant at all times.
The guide also reminded everybody to bring a bottle of water which was key to last in Mexico City when sunny.

Emiliano was my guide. He was friendly and very informative. His English was very good and it was only 3 of us with his group. He is knowledgeable and ask if we have any questions before he moves on. He gave us good tips on what is a good place to eat what.

Ana was an amazing guide, her anecdotes and personal touches made the tour so enjoyable! The tour takes you to the main attractions within the city (think Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Templo Mayor, Cathedral, etc) with some fun extras thrown in like the Porfirio Diaz-era post office with marble from Italy, El Caballito, among others. Ana's restaurant recommendations are also top notch.
