I cannot congratulate this place enough about their customer service. Every morning I was very well greeted by the man working the elevator. He was always willing to help, whether it was to get a taxi, give touring suggestions, or even just carry my bag. Yes, maybe it's a bit of a noisy and old hotel, but it's historical, very clean, and beautiful. The customer service did not stop there. I left the hotel and unfortunately I forgot an item in my room (I did not notice until almost a week later). I've been speaking to a lady for the last three days who has worked very hard to figure out the best way to get it to me. She has gone above and beyond, ensuring my comfort, being helpful and pelasant. I am amazed and extremely happy to have been able to stay here for my vacation. Thank you again, so much.

Hair dryer and main elevator didn’t work (there is a small operating elevator that a worker operates). Also no a/c but at least the staff were okay and helpful. Great location-wise and views from the buffet on the seventh floor. Highly recommended using a bigger sign or flyer at the entrance.

Amazing room view to the main square. Restaurant on the last floor has an amazinfćg view in the sunrise. During the night it can be difficult to sleep since near is some clubs, also on the main square there can be a lot of protests. Anyway, there is so many police:on each neighborhood at least 10-25 police officers, so people could be and feel safe.

DONT STAY HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ROOM QUALITY! The room is terrible with no windows, old bathrooms, and terrible services. The beds are hard and you can feel the spring underneath it. The elevators were broken they only available where the service elevators. The room with no windows get hot after 15 minutes and we ask for a fan they send us a dusty fan that doesn’t plug into the outlet. After reading this you still want to stay here in the middle of the night people from the streets sleep in the lobby. The hotel is literally across the street from the cathedral zocalo it wasn’t worth it when 5 stars hotels are down the street nearly at the same price.

Although it has a view into el Zócalo, the hotel need major renovations and upgrades. Almost no outlets to connect smartphones, needs new mattresses - they were old and sunk down - the room smelled musty, and bathroom toilet was broken. Friendly staff, good location. But no parking or parking partner ship with local parking lots.

Buget hotel. Pros: Great Breakfast, with a stunning view of Mexico's main square. Walking distance to great shopping areas and restaurants.
Cons: No A/C, the bathroom's curtains allow the water so escape to the floor of the bathroom, making a mess. CATV has no cartoon options for the kids, they get bored to death. No fridge in the room, in case you want to have cool water. The beds have little wheels so they suffle aroud all the time. That was weird.

Seems to be an underrated hotel. Yes it's an old building but that is part of it's charm. The restaurant on the top floor has good food, friendly staff, and an excellent view.
