I’m only here for the craft beer! Yes there is food and it looks delicious but I’m a man that love’s craft beer and this is my spot in Mexico City.

You’ll find craft beer in a few bars around the city but the price is always high. Here at la cocina de mi mamá the price is very reasonable. It’s Lovely to drink Mexican craft beer and not have the wallet damaged.

The guy, who I assume is the manager will recommend something great for you if your new the the craft scene. Also all of the staff are super friendly and welcoming.

Definitely give this place a visit, it’s in a very cool location too the market itself is great to walk around!

I had a guacamole and it was great!!
The only issue was I wanted something else but I was told some food like ceviche will take up to 20 mins to be served.

If you are in Mexico City and you find yourself in Coyoacán you have to give a try to this restaurant inside Coyoacan's market. The look and the deco of the restaurant stand out immediately. The menu is really nice traditional mexican dishes, and the best is, the food is excellent. The food is seasoned to perfection, the mexican chocolate is divine and their pan de muerto for real will hunt you because of how good it is.
The service was really good, friendly, quick, cordial, nice. Definitely i will come back when i'm again in CDMX.

Came here for breakfast and it did not disappoint! It’s a little tricky to find, it’s in the huge market place but we asked someone and they pointed us in the right direction! I ordered the consome with chicken and it was so yummy it was like a delicious chicken noodle soup u0026 my boyfriend got the classic chillaquilles and he loved it! They gave us juice and fruit as an appetizer and yummy coffee. The place was busy but we had our own table! I would come back again :)

I had a huge ribeye lunch for $220 pesos and it included soup, salad, bread, chilies, potatoes, fried spring onions, avocado, tortillas and of course the rib eye! It comes on a hot skillet so might want to order a little rarer than you’d like to eat or halfway through it may be over cooked (ie I ordered medium rare and by 10 mins, it became medium).
Very quick and efficient and good service

We came here for breakfast ahead of Frida Kahlo and so glad we did! The staff were really kind and one of them did his best to help translate to English. The food was so good and plentiful at a great price! A must visit if you are in the neighbourhood.
