A perfect dinner! Can’t fault a thing. Service was excellent, they were very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes (which is especially helpful as a foreigner). Food came out quickly and was wonderful, highly recommend getting the grilled fish. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and plated beautifully. Ambience was also wonderful, candles on the table, clean, and modern.

I’ve spent 5 days in Mexico City sampling the best culinary experiences the city has to offer. La Capital is a gem that stood out from even the cream of the crop top rated offerings. Chef puts out truly inspiring dishes that pleasantly surprise both in flavor and presentation. Service follows suit - unobtrusive, helpful and sincere (thank you Alberto). La Capital was hands down the highlight of my trip and I cannot recommend it enough.

La Capital feels like going to visit your uncle who’s winning at life.

Phenomenal service. Magnificent vibes and really yummy food.

The octopus was delicious, we also got the tuna tostadas and a main that were all great.

The desert was killer

The ambience of the place is unmatched. The staff was very kind and the service was great. The food was beyond immaculate and it’s a great spot to go with your friends, or on a date. The presentation of the drinks was great. One of my friends got a drink with a bubble on top that popped once you started drinking it. The aesthetic was great and they all tasted amazing

Insanely good. Grilled octopus tender and juicy. Yummy tuna tartare. Chile en nogada was something new for me and very interesting. Most beautiful guacamole I've ever seen. Eat it all! Muy rico.

Loved the atmosphere, food, and drinks at this place! The service was amazing. Everything was delicious, however the cocktails were definitely a highlight for me.

We enjoyed our dinner at La Capital. The patio was beautiful, the food delicious and the cocktails amazing. They have an English menu, our server spoke English and was very kind. We had a bunch of dishes and loved every one of them. The esquites are great (picture), the fideo seco too (picture). I had a nogada drink, which I was very impressed by (a great execution of chiles en nogada but as a cocktail). Deserts were tasty. Over all a great presentation and a great value. This is a mexican fine dining restaurant. We payed about $1500 for two people ($75 US or $90 CAD, we had two drinks, about 3 dishes to share and two deserts).
