There are better options in the area. I felt a bit disappointed as the building is older than the photos showed. I think the place is extremely charming (I love stained glass and creaky wooden floors) but does seem overpriced.

The reason I’m leaving a bad review is because the age of the building means you can hear everything - water pipes, guest in the hall, the popular restaurants downstairs, the birds in the courtyard. The wifi is slow. Water temperature is erratic. The other apartment style hotel I stayed at around the corner was better for the same price.

A very dangerous "hotel." All of our stuff was stolen, do not book this place even if you are hesitant.

You know the horror stories about robberies in Mexico City, right? Well, we experienced one in our hotel room at this shady, so-called hotel. A Mac laptop, two passports, and thousands of dollars were stolen from our private safe in the room. The hotel staff, who "helped" us lock the safe, is the only one who knows what's inside. The hotel management provided poor service, with poor communication and little responsibility. They offered us to watch the security cameras, where you can see that the only people who got into the room were the hotel staff. Later, we learned the staff had a master code for every hotel security safe.

The hotel refused to communicate with us directly after that, and offered us the opportunity to talk to their lawyers.

Regardless of the alleged robbery sponsored by the hotel, the service and rooms are below an acceptable standard. Bad smell of food coming from all over the restaurant around it into the rooms, extremely noisy, no elevator, and no air conditioning in the rooms. A little piece of hell. Keep safe, and DO NOT even pass there.

This hotel is a dangerous place. My safe in the hotel room was opened and all my money, passports and laptop were stolen. Few hours before that the hotel staff saw me using the safe they provided me and unfortunately when I came back to my room the safe was empty and locked! All my money and new Mac book and passport were stolen :(
The hotel until this point refuses to pay
back any of the huge lost.
The hotel has few cameras which showed that only the hotel staff entered the room. I also learned that the hotel staff has the code for all safes and that they had previous thefts by non staff.
The hotel's claim as of now that since they
can't prove the thief is their staff they don't
reimburse even though they have insurance. There are similar properties with similar prices around with safer environment.
If you care for your self security I encourage you to stay elsewhere.

Great location. Basic hotel with basic rooms and no real service. The hotel is badly let down by a lack of sound insulation and no policy managing guests usage of the top floor late in to the night. Stayed here twice, both times had a broken nights sleep as loud groups came back to the property to party on the roof, waking up the rest of the hotel.

If you care for your self security I encourage you to stay away as neither you or your belongings are safe there and probably be stolen by either staff or non staff.

Honestly, i can’t tell much about this place. The personnel seemed symphatic.

However, we got a room in the 5th floor. The extractor of the japanese restaurant beneath was next to the door of the room and super noisy until 11pm in the night. Besides the whole place smelled like fried food.

We discussed the topic with the receptionist and apparently it’s not the forst time that guests complain. We had to cancel our stay as they couldn’t offer better rooms.

friendly staff, but it’s nearly impossible to sleep, as the air condition of the restaurant downstairs ends next to the rooms. The smell of old grease is everywhere.
