hmm. let me start by saying I had a lot of expectations looking at the reviews. but let me just put in pros and cons.
Pro: After booking, they were very communicative. I liked that. The hotels.com said the check-in time was till midnight. Our flight was arriving really late and we were certain we would miss the midnight mark. We requested them and they were very nice to accommodate our late check-in. Till all this everything was perfect. We reached it a little after midnight. The door was locked. I had no idea how to call security, so I called the hotel number. No one picked up. First time in Mexico City, didn't know there are bells outside. Anyways it would have been good to know. Whenever you come in actually you always need to call the bell. The breakfast was too little. Other than bread there wasn't anything much. The room was clean and big but very dark. AC wasn't working. You can't open the windows as it was on the 2nd floor overlooking someone's balcony and garage. I didn't like that at all. I like open airy natural sunlight rooms. I requested towels which never came. All in all, clean hotel, a good location but lower floor rooms are not good, breakfast is useless. So expensive in terms of service and experience. The security guard and cleaning staff were very helpful. But all in all, not worth the price we paid. We booked a suite but if you can't open windows what's the point.

Conveniently located in the heart of the city. Surrounded by local eateries and a beautiful park. Location is great, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. I would recommend anyone visiting Mexico City to give this chic hotel a chance. We enjoyed our stay very much !!!

Absolutely marvelous!!! What a great idea to convert smart decó apartment building into s boutique hotel. Quaint and great service, except for the front door porter, indifferent and not helpful at all. Not really expensive and delicious. I will stay there again

I work in the Global Relocation / Mobility industry, helping companies move their employees around the world. This was my 6th trip to Mexico City and third time staying in the beautiful La Condesa neighborhood. I must admit that I am often looking at furnished accommodations differently than the causal business traveler.

Upon arrival to the Casa Malí by Dominion I was greeted at the door - making me feel very secure. The Art Deco building is located on a corner making it easy for your UBER driver to drop off and pick up. Once inside, there is a warm and welcoming lobby. After check-in, I took the elevator to my apartment. I was extremely pleased to be in a space that was thoughtfully laid out and nicely decorated.

Large windows allowed sunlight to fill the room with views overlooking Parque Mexico. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the required items for a long stay. A full size refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave made me feel like I was at home. The large bedroom and bathroom were on the other end of the apartment past the dining and living room.

I was VERY surprised at how much storage was located in the apartment. This is so helpful for a family who is relocating with extra suitcases, etc.

The soft goods (pillows, sheets, blankets) were in excellent condition and felt new. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had excellent water pressure.

The team at Casa Malí by Dominion went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. They assisted with food delivery services and when I had a tour guide arrive in the morning for my trip to Grutas Tolantongo (a great place to visit)

In closing, I would feel very comfortable housing an executive at Casa Malí by Dominion. The price, service, accommodations, and location are perfecto.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay here. The hotel is so chic, perfect spot beside the park, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Reviews had complained about ground floor rooms being noisy. I’m very sensitive to noise, and in 102 it didn’t bother us at all. We had a private terrace and the roof deck is gorgeous. The European style breakfast (meat, cheese, bread, yogurt, hard boiled eggs) is lovely! We would return here any time we are in MEX!

My fiancé was a little hesitant about an air Bnb during COVID when a lot of stuff would be closed early. This was a perfect compromise. We didn’t need a full kitchen but it was nice to have. The staff and service was excellent. Very accommodating and helpful. The location is great, there is a lot around the area. There is turn over service and a pool floor we never got around to exploring. It was very spacious and the full size walk in closets were a nice perk you don’t get in a hotel room. Overall it was a great stay.

Potential to be perfect, however missing the mark in a few places. The kitchens in the rooms are missing essentials like salt, pepper, a sponge to clean dishes. I don’t think any other room would have this issue but room 105 is right next to reception and you can hear everything that goes on all day. No iron in our room. The breakfast is very underwhelming — the eggs looked like they were sitting out for too long. Otherwise the location is perfect, the hotel is sleek in a classic modern way, the staff is kind, and the bed is wonderful. For the price point however these little things should be fixed.
