This is a really cute, comfortable hotel. The location is amazing! Having the park right there was so nice and it was an easy walk to the metro. Staff were friendly and it was nice to see the same few familiar faces each day. I understand why there are so many bad reviews of the restaurant: the service was poor every day at breakfast, even when we were the only table with three or four servers. One morning my coffee was cold, so I asked for a new pot, and the server just forgot about it while chatting with coworkers at the bar. It was fine for us, because the breakfast was included with the stay, but I would be annoyed as an outside paying customer. We used the laundry service, and they lost a shirt, which was disappointing, but they did refund the full laundry payment after we notified them.

I cannot recommend the hotel to anyone!

The main reason is that the hotel and especially the manager are not honest!
To the story: I left my sunglasses in the room, which I admit is my fault, but unfortunately when I came back after an hour because I noticed it, the sunglasses were gone.
I asked at the reception if my sunglasses had been handed in, luckily, or not, the manager of the hotel was at the reception. The first thing he tells me is that on the surveillance video he saw me walking out with my glasses on my head, which seemed strange to me as an argument and I was sure that I had left my glasses in the room. I then asked him to show me the video, which suddenly didn't work for "technical reasons". I told him it was no problem, that I was in CDMX for a month and would give him time to sort it out. He then said he would solve the problem and call me, which he never did. I went by twice more after that and always had to listen to the same lies from him. Unfortunately, I never got my sunglasses back.
Therefore, I feel compelled to write this comment to warn future guests.
Besides, the hotel rooms are rather old and not in the best condition. However, the rooms were clean and quiet.

Poor service, extremely long wait for flavorless extremely spicy food. I had the red chilaquiles and I was surprised at how it could be so spicy but have absolutely no flavor. I always tip 20% and this time I didn’t because of the poor service (it took 45 minutes to get a plate of tortilla chips) and then I heard the waiter saying bad things about me! Wow

I've eaten there a couple of times, nothing special. But the worse is the arrogant attitude by the front door guys. My gwad they act like you won't spend money in there. Like a lot of other reviewers say, they are RUDE..Don't bother, there's a lot of
other places where you feel welcomed.

I first knew this place through their IG account. Their rooftop photos were amazing so I decided to give it a try. First things first, I tried to make a reservation (as stated in their IG profile info) and had no answer via whats app nor call. So, I decided to go without. I arrived to the hotel and asked to the front man for a table with a view to the park. He said none was available and that I could just sit on another table and then asked to be moved. I agreed, went up to the rooftop and found out they had not one but three tables available (taking into account the ones not able to be used due to covid) with the view I was looking for. I then asked for one in the corner and the waiter pushed for another one, but I insisted that I wanted the one in the corner and finally got it.
While seeing the menu, I asked the waiter what dish was the one in an IG photo and he told me it was a dish they used to served. I told him the photo was uploaded just a couple hours ago. So he went all nervous and I decided to leave it there and order something else.
He was so unpleasent, to a point were one of my companions asked for more dressing and got a ‘the salad already has a dressing’ reply.
I am granting it a star because the view and the food were great. But the service leaves sooo much room for improvement.
I wouldn’t recommend it and I am not coming back, for sure! So unpleaseant that it really isn’t worth the time.

This comment is specifically for the restaurant: live marimba (nice but a bit loud), good ambience. Overall the deco was folkloric but interesting. Nice views to Parque Mexico from the terrace. Service was good, friendly and relatively fast. Food was good, nice beef flautas. Loved their coffee, tasty, and almost unlimited. Menu was varied. Very recommendable for a weekend breakfast or brunch.

Breakfast included but the worst ever. There is no space to work. The service is beyond slow. No recommendation from us at all.
