Many free appetizers. Good service albeit a bit slow. Amazing selection of imported beers. Gigantic portions.

The staff just sort of stared at us when we came in. We asked if they were open. A man sitting at one of the tables told us yes. A couple came in a couple minutes later and went through the same thing. They really need to revamp their hospitality. My friend ordered the Sauerbraten. It tasted nasty. When I tried the meat, it literally made me gag. My goulasch tasted better, but it was only meat and gravy. The strudel was cold on the inside and dried out on the outside. The carrot cake tasted decent, but the frosting literally broke into pieces. Will not return.

Everything was done well except one thing....it cost nothing to have a welcoming attitude but all staff and including who I think was owner acted miserable....you need to start to smile:))

Friendly service in a nice clean location. Be advised though they no German beer on tap, only bottles.

I was so excited to see a German restaurant. I ordered bratwurst, which is not hard to make. The preparation was strange, with lots of small lateral cuts in the sausage. No where was it well browned, the way I've eaten them in Germany and Switzerland, and the way I was trained to cook them in a German restaurant in the us. The sauerkraut was good, but a little too sweet and to sort, like too much of the original brine was served. I did like the potatoes. While the restaurant was good, you should not stop here if you are looking for the food you enjoyed in Europe.
