Let me beforehand clarify the star rating. The three stars are for the venue itself, however the fun and the atmosphere in there watching a Mexican wrestling match is a five star in terms of fun factor. The crowd chants are funny as hell, the whole thing is a riot! This simply must be in your bucket list when in Mexico City.

Great cultural experience! The stadium wasn't too full when we were there but there still was good atmosphere. DO NOT BUY TICKET FROM THE RESELLERS: They will be more expensive. We bought ours for 50 pesos (the resellers we're selling the same tickets for 100pesos telling us that they didn't have any of the same seats at the booth) and we had a good view as you can see from my pictures.

The place is very rustic.

I had been to Mexico a number of times and has not watched Lucha Libre ever since. I had the opportunity to watch the show this 2022. The place is old and a bit dirty but the crowd watching the show makes up for it.

You may need to have cash if you need food. There are servers that go around the arena if you like to order food.

Make sure you also know where the exits are.

This was a lot of fun. Purchased tickets the day of for $22 USD/ ticket 17th row. The beers are big, they sell tortas, beer and full size bags of chips in the aisles so you don’t miss a thing. The ushers will shake you down for a tip, be warned.

Fantastic experience!

We chose seats by the fighters' entrance to the ring, and I'm so glad we did - not only were we close to the action, but this seems to be where the diehard fans sit, constantly bantering with the luchadores and heckling the heels. It's a lot of fun!

Just a warning - you show your ticket once to get in. The next, official-looking person to ask to see your ticket, after security, is just a steward, who will briskly lead you to your seat and expect to be paid for the privilege. If you book online, you'll know where your seat is and not need their 'help'.

Beers and snacks are 50MXN a piece, or you can pay slightly more to get someone to fetch them for you, so you never have to leave your seat.

Don't be late! The showtime was listed as 7.30-11.00. We thought this might mean a relaxed start time of about 8.30, allowing people to get seated, get snacks etc., but the show started at 7.30 and was over by 10.15.

It’s a thing to experience. We boughttickets from one of the men selling them in the area and naturally, got scammed (that’s on us tbh) - he gave us half the money back and we just ended buying better seats directly from the ticket box so do that or online.

The fights were entertaining enough and it was enjoyable to see the crowd get into it. Personally, the performances did get a bit repetitive for me but still good fun. Definitely get a close seat if you want to enjoy it!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Grest Wrestling show for Everybody's. It's really fun. All the crowd cheers, applaused and laught. The kids have a blast

Book your ticket in advance and choose the front row and close to an aisle. Arrived early, go eat near the Tequila museum. After the show, don't took a cab around there (they will charge way too much). We walked a little and book a Uber
