Many things keep me coming back to Mexico City. But at the top of the list are the people, the food, the atmosphere, the hospitality, and hidden gems like El Cardenal. I was recommended this restaurant by a close associate who lives in Mexico City. He recommended I get there early as the crowd starts to pick up rapidly. I arrived at 8:30 AM and had no issues getting a table. But within an hour the place was bustling with executives and Mexico City is upper class. Sitting outside was enjoyable. Probably ate the most delicious concha I’ve ever had, fresh out of the oven. The green juice and mango purée are delicious. The lattes were a little smaller than what I’m used to but we are every bit delicious. The staff made me feel extremely special and well cared for.
