If you happen to be in the area go ahead and visit but I don't recommend going out of your way to visit. They shut down areas abruptly for special events and there is not much to see except a Lazaro Cardenas exhibition. Everything else is dead. The grounds are nice but nothing you don't see in the Chapultepec park. The worst museum in this area.

It was an interesting experience. Nice seeing where past Mexican presidents lived. The park and gardens are nice, but the house, despite it being a big residence, it was VERY stripped down of its history. There's hardly anything on the walls, you can't sit on the presidential office chair for a photo, I think that's the least they could offer. No one to explain any details of the rooms.

The older house, which is adjacent to the "new house," has paintings on the walls, and more furniture.

Over all, it's something to see if you have the time and you can say you've been there.

I was expecting a luxurious and full of historical place decorated with beautiful paintings, furniture, artwork, etc; nevertheless, it lacks character for a "presidential house". It is just a big house. Having said that, I still recommend it to anyone that hasn't visited yet. Outdoors is starting to look in the rough side and soon it will need some cosmetic work along with the garden areas.

I think it's really cool you get to visit the old president's house too bad they close too early. But great museum ????

Free entry, culture and nice gardens to explore, clean and free bathrooms. All you can ask of a public space.

Took my kids to see the mansions used by past Mexican presidents and they enjoyed everything of it. It's a must see place.

great public park within el Bosque de Chapultepec, with concerts and quiet shadow corners
