Don’t understand the bad reviews that are on here - do note advanced booking is required as stated on the website and new tickets are released on Tuesdays 4PM Mexico time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even though our group had lots of questions and the tour overran a little, he took the time to explain everything. The insights into Barragan’s life and his style were interesting. If you like architecture, I highly recommend this museum.

We had an amazing tour with a very well educated and charming guide, who was able to answer all questions. The groups are small, so book ahead. The house is very interesting and you get to see almost everything.

The photography fee is quite high, 500 pesos, I would say rather skip it and buy a nice book about Barragan.

An enchanting reprieve from the bustling metropolis

We’ve read some negative reviews about pricing, unavailability of tours, and bad guides. Our experience was the opposite. We showed up without booking and asked if there were any places left and got lucky. Though the tour at that time was supposed to be in Spanish, the guide (Stefan) switched to English to accommodate the group. He was very knowledgeable and made the relatively hefty price worth it. He really took the time to answer all our questions and his passion for the Barragan’s work was infectious. Perhaps not a must on your first visit to Mexico City, but certainly one of the most unique places this city has to offer.

Free garden across the street is open and available to public, climb the stairs at the back for a nice city view.

The admission fee is quite high compared to better museums and attractions in CDMX. The $500 peso charge (additional to the admission fee!) to be allowed to take photos inside the house is outrageous and a total ripoff since the place isn't that unique and it's a rather small tour. And the cherry on the cake is that the tours are only conducted in Spanish without any resources in any foreign language. Not the best experience for sure.

The tickets didn’t go public the day they said they would. I monitored there website every hour and still almost got sold out. This is one of my favorite places I visited and the tour was good. $25usd or $500 pesos to take pictures is steep.

Very beautiful place but the prices are outrageous ($ 500 per person) + $500 per device to take pictures!!!

This is not intend to allow the acess to everyone...

We were also chocked that a woman was refused to enter because she was with her child, younger than 12 years old, the minimum age to access the museum - the reason wad that the child could disturb others.
