I went to this house for the murder mystery event but i would love to visit on a guided tour, it's a beautiful historic building only thing is it's a little sunk because of the terrain and you can get dizzy from going to the second floor

It's a miracle that this place still exist after all the earthquakes and squatting during years but the house is still there. It has a fascinating history and it was recently restored. The problem is that they used some cheap materials (especially wood) that isn't at the level of such a gorgeous architecture. It's a private company that is in charge of the house and I understand that money is a problem but I'd prefer to see some parts of the house like a work in progress, that seeing this laminated wood on doors. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable but the tour was too long. We left because after two hours the guy was still talking

Great historical place. The tour includes stories about old Tenochtitlan and it's progress to become the Mexico City of today. There is a voluntary donation as access fee. The actual information provided regarding the house it's not that much aside from local folklore and the history of the remodeling itself.

This is a Porfirian house built by Mexican architect Antonio Rivas Mercado at the end of 19th century. Currently, Casa Rivas was restored by commemoration foundation and the local government of CDMX. Transforming into to beautiful culture space in the colonia Guerrero.
