This restaurant is one of the finest places located in the San angel area.
The entrance introduces you to a truly majestic view into a wonderful garden. The food is also delicious with a variety of dishes. One recommendation for kids is tacos de pato. This cozy restaurant is a need-to-go space in San Angel CDMX.

Very nice place to have breakfast in the south of Mexico City (San Angel). If you are nervous about covid or if you just want to spend some time outside while enjoying good food, you should reserve a table in the garden area. I went with my friends and we had an almost private area at the end of the garden where we could enjoy a nice conversation and food for many hours. I like the pan dulce, chilaquiles, coffee and jugo verde. The service was a bit slow because we were so far away but the place is beautiful so it’s worth it!

Beautiful setting, mediocre food, and underwhelming service.

1. The reservation process is challenging for non-Spanish speakers. I recommend making the reservation either via email or Instagram messaging, so that you can utilize Google Translate.

2. The tables in the garden are nice. You can request for them when making the reservation.

3. Most of the servers do not speak English. However, we came across 1 person who does when we were getting the bill. It made me wonder why they had not asked him to come speak with us when we needed help.

4. Of the items we tried, only the onion soup was up to standard. The escargot was okay. The filete en jugo de carne u0026 coq au vin tasted very heavy (in an unpleasant way). The cocktails were just bearable.

Perhaps we did not order the right dishes. But overall the service felt stuffy, and it seemed like a restaurant more for the ambiance than for the food.

Side rant: considering that there is a gluten-free bakery in the same plaza, it surprises me that they do not offer gluten-free bread.

Highly recommend that you make a reservation if not they will not let you sit even though some tables are empty. The garden is beautiful. Was a little disappointed with the meal and the service was slow. I waited 15min after being seated to get asked what I wanted to drink. My appetizer was good, a chicken soup but was my caccio pepe pasta was more like an Alfredo. The desert was delicious a chocolate fondant! Will definitely be back to enjoy the garden and hopefully try something else on the menu.

Fantastic food and drinks, pretty terrace and garden are a plus. Services can be wee slow but the wait is worth.

Nice place in San Jacinto, good food, the service is not very good (lacks efficiency) for the prices they charge.

Amazing gardens and gorgeous view! The food was great and at a much better price than I would’ve thought from the ambiance. For those chilly days, you can ask the waiters for a blanket and they will facilitate it in a second. Friendly staff but took way too long to get our meals.
