I've been a regular Barry's client for last 5+ years and go about 5x a week. This is my first time visiting an international studio and I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the Barry's Mexico City location.

The location is in Santa Fe very close to the Westin hotel - it's a little tricky to find as it's in a VERY NICE retail/restaurant area BEHIND the main office building. Much like the downtown Chicago location, it's on two levels with lockers/retail down below and the red room upstairs. It's definitely one of Barry's nicest studios.

My entire experience was excellent - the front desk staff could not have been more friendly or welcoming (and quickly realized Spanish is not my biggest strength lol). Locker rooms were clean and had all the same amenities as other locations: (showers, hair dryer, Oribe products, plastic bags, large towels, etc.) The Shakes are also the same (well at least very close) as in the states.

I was very nervous about taking classes in Spanish but my first was with (the amazing) John Michael who is from my home location in San Diego and he teaches mostly in English. My second class was with Pablo (also terrific) and he was kind enough to call out moves in English for me as well. The programming is top notch and I'm going to take some more classes. Coming from sea level, I had a tough time working out with the high altitude but both trainers pushed me through it. Further, the weights and treads use the English (as opposed to metric) system so everything was very familiar to me.

My only difficulty was with the International mobile app which definitely needs some love, but that really has nothing to do with this location.

In any case, I highly recommend Barry's Mexico. It's very well managed and one of their best locations.

Brand new and amazing Barry's in Mexico City. Prices are quite low compared to those in the US. It's two stories and absolutely beautiful! The staff are super warm and welcoming. The classes are in Spanish though, so if you're not fluent get ready to follow along with the crowd! Highly highly recommended workout

Hands down the most gorgeous Barry’s I’ve ever been to! The front desk personnel and trainers are also incredibly nice and welcoming to newbies. They did a great job of planning an intuitive and beautiful space. Perfectly compliments the fun class - the instructor I had on the second day, (female, Spanish language), didn’t miss a beat when the power flickered on and off. She was super, as was the English speaking male instructor from San Diego.

The trainers are incredibly nice and helpful, though the classes are less rigorous than expected (based on how intense they are at other locations). The front desk staff was often unhelpful and even a bit rude. Some staff members didn't seem very informed (I understand the location is new, but still), and I often was made to feel like I was putting the staff out if I asked questions or ordered something from the smoothie bar. Finally, my wallet was stolen somewhere on the premises and thousands of dollars in purchases were made on my cards in the hours following my class. I asked the staff to check cameras and they answered that they 'don't really do that.' Whether or not checking the cameras would have brought my wallet and all the important things in it (like my license, etc) back, I felt like they should have at least shown more concern in an effort to ensure the security of their locale.

Yes, it’s the best workout of the world but not in Mexico. I was hoping the same level than Barrys in other countries but is not. For my in Mexico I prefer other options instead Barrys. Im very disappointed

(Translated by Google) A lot of light comes in and the view towards the trees is beautiful. The mats slide when you are exercising on them. I would recommend giving modifications for people who want the more advanced class, it didn't feel very challenging. And leave more space between places. They are very friendly and you feel welcome as soon as you arrive.
