Best Japanese on Mexico City!

I've lived in Asia and am always looking for true flavours in this side of the world.

Went there for late lunch on Sunday, it wasn't busy at all. The staff was friendly and offered a great experience.

We sat at the bar and the sushi chef shared some tuna sashimi with us while we waited for our orders.
We ordered the gyosas, spicy ramen and salmon bowl.

Everything was delicious and cooked/prepared to perfection. The gyosas were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The ramen was the best I've tried in the city; melts-in-your-mouth chasu, soy marinated egg, chewy noodles and tasty broth - not too spicy for Mexican standards. The fresh fish was just that: fresh and dressed beautifully with just the right amount of sauces.

I'm looking forward to go back!
I really liked it... Can you tell!?

Located in the city center, this Japanese restaurant is worth a visit if you are craving for ramen during your Mexican trip.
The spot offers a filtered atmosphere with the possibility to witness the preparation of your sushi/maki/sashimi.
While the maki (tuna and salmon roe) were fine, not great but tasty, the ramen (especially the shoyu ramen) were the highlight of the dinner. The broth is perfectly balanced, not too salty but packed with flavors. The noodles are firm and soaked in broth: un vrai délice !
My take: A good spot for a break during the lively and crowded neighborhood that is the city center!

Was looking for something different for dinner tonight and stumbled upon this place. Great ambiance, reasonably priced, and good food. Next time I’m in town I will come back.

This was a quick stop for a snack. A lot of people gathered here for lunch. We got the dragon and it was delicious. Fantastic and attentive service.

I wish I could make a short and meaningful description for this place, but it would be lacking. This place is a temple of flavour, of having a good experience at a place where you feel confident about coming in alone or with your friends. There aren't too many garments on the place per se; however, it gives the impression of being dining at a fancier place. The food is comforting, tasteful, abundant, but not overpriced. Not even beer is overpriced. I'd definitely go back there anytime.
