Amazing place! It’s free and has 3 floors of incredible art and pieces! Super cool temperature inside and staff is nice and helpful!

This is a great morning activity to enjoy. This is a free museum with lots of history. Recommend to come and learn about the city and just relax for a few minutes walking the two story building.

For being a free museum I thought it was great. Not a ton of stuff but you can learn a lot about Merida history here which was cool. The market outside that everyone else mentions is also really cool too! Bring cash so you can shop around before or after the museum.

Interesting exhibition on the past and present of the city of Merida and its rich Mayan heritage. Highly recommendable also for non-Spanish speaker. Entrance is free, but keep in mind that opening hours on Sunday are until 2 pm.

Gives a nice overview over the city history. However, not the best museum in terms of curation. Moreover, the expositions are a bit old and grubby.
