Very centrally located park within walking distance of the Zapalo of Mérida. Typical Mexican appearance, loudly hectic, but charming in its own way. In the evening from 5 pm streetfood (tortillas, tortas etc.) and drinks, mostly locals, very authentic experience.

It's basically a waiting area. A place to sit while the family is shopping, or a place to wait for someone. Lots of people, lots of bird droppings. Fun place to people watch.

The park it's ok and they clean it every day, but there's a lot of trash around it and it's close to a market. It doesn't look good or clean enough.

Nice approach to Notre Dame Cathedral, food and souvenirs available nearby. All streets around the Cathedral closed since the 2019 fire

Is locally known as the "Drunk's park" Is always dirty and full of garbage. One of the worst part of the city.
