This was a one night ordeal for me. I probably wouldn't stay more than that. I usually look for hotels that offer free continental breakfast for convenience, but this was a joke here. Some sliced up banana, a slice of toast with jelly, and some fake orange juice or coffee. That's not breakfast that's just a snack. But when I first arrived downstairs to a small dining room there were already five tables occupied and the people serving did not even acknowledge us after 15 minutes we got up and went to Pollo Feliz next door for breakfast. After I came back from my actual breakfast the dining area was empty and the guy finally decided to say hi and thats when I sampled the "free" breakfast. For this lack of hospitality in the hospitality business I'm taking off 2 ⭐'s.
The room itself was small with only a small window in the bathroom. The bed was queen size and comfortable and the AC worked well. The light on the AC cannot be turned off so if you like it dark this made it a little difficult to sleep. There was an ant problem in the bathroom forming a line along the wall up around the mirror behind the sink (see photo).
The property itself seems nice with an open hallway concept so watch out for mosquitoes. The staff could be a little more friendly as noted in other reviews. For the price of about 850 pesos, I think we could have done a little better. The parking in the front is very tight and can accommodate six cars maybe seven if you're close to the sidewalk. The patio outback with the pool looks nice and there are some chairs to sit in but the water in the pool was a little dirty so even though I had my bathing suit, I didn't indulge.
I did like a couple of the small details such as the Wi-Fi password written down in the room, a pair of masks and a bottle of [Costco]water in the room, and some slippers to use in the bedroom as well. No box of tissues, no alarm clock, and the TV was useless. Couldn't watch anything.
