The hotel was great! It is centrally located not far from the main points of the city. The hotel personnel were polite and courteous. I’d definitely stay here again.

It's a brilliant hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would return any time we are in Guadalajara. Great staff and comfortable rooms. The best.

Beautiful, clean, modern and comfortable room. Check in was quick and easy. Exceptional view of the city at night. The room was clean and sanitized. Included ironing board, iron, safe and desk. Bathroom amenities are great as well including the basics and make-up mirror, hair dryer, shower cap etc. The hotel also offers a restaurant with good prices. Nice pool area and a gym. Along with safe u0026 quick taxi service. The hotel is on a very important avenue in the city nonetheless the noise was very low nothing to worry about. We will definitely be using this hotel again in the future. New fave!!
Highly recommend!!!

We stayed at Hotel velvet for 4 nights and booked 2 rooms (6 of us), it’s a very nice hotel, very clean, and beautiful rooms especially the shower which is important to me! The staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. I needed something printed and the front desk printed it for me at no charge, I lost a room key and they made me 2 more no charge. The 1st day we checked in the A/C was not working properly u0026 it was hot ????, I called u0026 someone came quickly and fixed it. Food is ok. Great value for the $, would definitely recommend u0026 would stay again.

Decent quality hotel, rooms are simple but comfortable enough, comfy beds too. Great outdoor pool and a small gym with views. Front rooms have bigger windows but the view is ruined by the construction works just in front and also an abandoned building nearby. The back rooms have a small cute balcony and are quieter. Very good service.

you get what you pay for. it's cheaper than the "nicer" hotels but note a few disadvantages:
1) it's noisy - you can hear the hallway noise, as well as random sounds from the walls around you. Not good for light sleepers.
2) The curtains let in a lot of light, making it difficult to sleep in. See photo attached where the curtains were closed as much as possible.

Great value, large and comfortable rooms. Close to the Centro Magno and the string of restaurants behind it which are all pretty nice.
I didn't have the breakfast, but there are plenty of very good places nearby. Small pool on the roof is great for hanging out, with a great view of the city. Towels provided...
Would stay here again
