Unfortunately I have to give it to 2 star to this hotel. I experienced rain coming through the windows and walls. The towels are really old and it seems it’s been in use for 20 years or so. The water did not drain good in the shower . The location of the hotel is good right next to Expo I hope the Hilton sees this and decide to do the TLC at the hotel really deserves to get.

Arrived in Guadalajara on an early flight, thought I could check in early to get a bit of rest. Did not expect there to be a fee to pay for early check in, arrived at 8.30am and waited till 2.45pm before I could get my room.

Staff was kind enough to let me have my complimentary breakfast that came tm with the room booking instead of the next day as I had an early flight out to catch. Only thing is the breakfast only includes fruits, juices and bread. Anything else is extra, didn't expect that either from a Hilton establishment.

Booked a King Bed Club Floor room. Room felt old and dated. Missing mini bar fridge in the room when I wanted to chill my drink. No bathrobe either in the room when I wanted to go down for a swim, had to request for bathrobe and room slippers from Housekeeping instead.

Overall, wasn't what I had expected.

Positive: The hotel has a great location if you are going to the Expo. The pool and the gym are wonderful. It has a great breakfast buffet. Negative: The hotel needs lots of redoing. My room had humidity marks all over the ceiling. The towels need to be changed. They look like old rags. My room had to be changed three times do to a lack of cleanliness.

Slightly old furniture in the rooms, BUT, BUT!!! The experience, the rest of the hotel is fantastic, top class, excellent service from all staff.

The gym is very well equipped, comparing it to top experiences in europe, it was excellent, all the equipment is modern, clean and there are multiple machines and items to aid you in your workout, from pilates, to yoga and other stuff. There's water and AC and everything works fantastic. When I stay in an hotel this is what makes the difference for me, because otherwise I'd rather an airbnb or something like that. I like to finish work and head to the gym, and in some other hotels I have had huge disappointments, where they'd usually have old equipment, even rusty. This wasn't the case, it was better than expected and the experience is so much worth it. The pool and other areas were also very good.

I had the chance to try the food at one of their restaurants and it was very tasty, the staff, again, top class.

Finally, the most important: the beds. They were in perfect condition and I had such a perfect rest after a long work day, the AC, though it was an old installation, worked perfect and I never got trouble changing the temperature as I had that kind of bad experience in other well-known hotels.

TV size was big, had a very good amount of channels; the chair was ergonomic and perfect for work.

It would be such a pleasure to return here, for any business or personal stay.

The "Executive Suites"' felt like they were designed in the 1970s. Lack of comfortable electrical outlets, old furniture, crummy internet log-on system and much more. The room service was outstanding, tho.

At my second night stay, there was a leaking on top of the toilet at the ceiling it was like urine leaking from the upper level room. It was disgusting and risky at the same time because I could’ve slipped and fallen. I inform reception about it they just switched me to another room however I was almost leaving and I ended up not getting the rest I need it because of this. It was all disappointing because I wasn’t expecting this type of situation to happen.

I had high hopes. The staff is doing what they can with what they got. Towels are see through in the rooms. Beds broken. We were moved, but the rooms are so dated it wasn't an upgrade.

Breakfast was really bad. I just went out to eat. DO NOT EAT HERE. TV was alright, if you like bad reception.

It is really close to the Expo. Shows and concerts are always on the schedule.

DO NOT GET THE TOURS THEY OFFER. They take you to the worst, dirtiest places they can. Thats why it's cheap. You get what you pay for. Buy a private tour. Pay well, and feel safe.

If you want to drink and party and don't care about your room, food, or comfort, this is the place for you.

If you want to enjoy your vacation, and get back to a comfortable room to rest, this is not the place for you.
