I am tourist and was looking for a place that makes well made authentic cuisine. Found it. Had an awesome smoothie and the wrap molletero. Both were awesome. You can taste the freshness of everything. Just the right amount of food and good lord it is cheap. Less than 10 USD total for everything including a bottle of water. I threw on a 5 dollar tip and I was happily on my way. I like to try as many places as I can but this will be a repeat during my stay.

unprofessional staff work here. This morning my mom was judged and ignored. She ask the waiter if she can sit down at the table they told her yes. Shorty after her another party got seated and their order was taken right away. My mom got up and confronted the staff on how she arrived first and her order wasn’t taken. She took her business somewhere else.Just a couple steps to the left theirs a stand where they sell quesadillas etc. and appreciate there customers no matter how they look and dress.

This is a small delicious place, food is always fresh, I love their 'Cafe de Olla' coffee, most of the dishes are 'molletes' but the toppings are very tasty.

El Molletero is a place where you will eat the most traditional bread from Guadalajara called bolillo with delicious salty or sweet variety of flavors to choose with a gourmet Mexican taste. Service is comparable with a high class international place, waiters are well trained to serve, prices are very accessible, there are two different size of molletes and they also have other well served dishes like omelettes. Try the pancita, chorizo, carne en su jugo or rajas molletes, GREAT COMBINATION OF TRADITIONAL BREAD u0026 MEAT FROM GDL. You can also buy 1/2 dozen and a dozen what I found wonderful to take home for my sons. Also the coffee is one of the best in the city. The owner is always supervising the service from the kitchen to the table, thumps up to this good located restaurant. 5 stars for taste, flavor, price and location.

El molletero has a nice vibe, it's full of students so it makes it pretty lively. The prices are good they have some combo options which are useless, it would cost the same asking for each item individually. About the flavors they are pretty good, but their service is not good at all. They messed up my order and received items that I didn't ask for.
