The supervisor es extremely rude. First night we ordered food because the restaurant was closed, and when we asked for cutlery he said that is is not his problem. He asked us to change room, to one where the wifi does not work, and then his only argument is that he does not have any other rooms. Why do you change ours then?

He said that we paid one night, when I actually paid a week, and then said that we are allowed to stay until then and then we are OUT! Never been treated like this ANYWHERE.

We could not even make a complaint because he say he is his own supervisor.

Reservation canceled with no justification. Worst hotel ever!!!!!

Wow!! Honestly this place was amazing. I have to say, the staff was AWESOME. They made this vacation to Guadalajara the best with offering tours and places outside of the tour's! The staff made me feel at home, and the food was great for the prices of the hotel, also rooms were very nice, always clean. I was so happy with my stay here.

The hotel is clean and quite comfortable. The staff is always pleasant and very accommodating. The housekeeping staff is timely and thorough in cleaning my room. I stayed at this hotel a year ago when I traveled to Guadalajara. The staff remembered me and were happy to see me again. In general, the staff always go out if their way to ensure that they do all they can to help with immediate needs I may have.

4.5 stars, is a old place but is very clean and excellent staff, definitely i will stay again.

I stayed here for almost like 7 (6+1)months staff is nice ,good rooms, affordable rates . hotel including pool is big plus and breakfast too .Only reason for keeping 4 star as I had few incidents there which I don't want to disclose but it was just for food . Also big plus is the location it is perfectly in center you have a shopping mall like 5 mins walk , party places are like 10-15 mins walk so you save it on your Uber bills haha

We drive from Pennsylvania to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and had stayed here both coming into Mexico and leaving Mexico in 2016 and 2017 with our 4 dogs. We did not have any problem as we were charged a fee for each dog to stay in our room. This year upon arriving at Del Marques after 10 hours on the road, the front desk advised us that they had changed their policy and were no longer accepting pets. We were quite upset as the week before we had called the hotel to confirm our arrival and were not told about this new policy. The reception person said they had sent us an email to this effect which I challenged as I had not received any such email. We were told that Hotel Aurea did accept pets and we made our way there. Hotel Aurea was very clean, the staff is very friendly and caring. Do not be fooled by the photos of the Del Marques as the room we had for the past few years was less than acceptable but we had no choice as we had not found any other pet friendly hotel. Del Marques is dated, our bathroom shower was moldy, furniture was old.
