We have enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. The rooms are well designed by local artists. The staff are very attentive. It is a convenient location to explore the City. The downstairs restaurant is good and we ate there several times. One complaint is the toilet bowl cleaner that is the initial smell as you enter the room.

The Staff if just amazing starting from the maintenance crew to the general manager. Is not a big branch with a ton of rooms you will get a people to people feel. On bottom there is an amazing restaurant that has a wide range of foods all day long.

As far as the location regards I would say it is a 10 out of 5 very very very nice. Is an old building that makes part of historic architecture that goes back to the 1860s which makes it look so much better. the rooms have very modern style touch. You will not feel like you are at a regular hotel it will feel more like HOME

At first I had a couple of problems with the customer service during my stay. The hotel manager got in touch with me directly and my opinion on customer service changed. During my stay the hotel had many guests. I booked one night and did not stay much in the room. I think the problems I had would have been solved immediately if I had noticed before. I would stay at the hotel again but would only stay in one of the large rooms.

"Cueva" room is located on 1st flor next to kitchen and eating tables, it will be noisy from 4am to 11pm.

CHIA restaurant, sunday breakfast buffet for 99 pesos is a great deal, but you get what you pay in regards to quality, you can eat outside next the park and church and hear the water fountain.

Proximity to cathedral and other point of interest is a walking distance under 1km. Lots of car traffic so be parient, hotel has no parking but do have a discount with a parking lot called "mundo nuevo" 2.5 blocks away (5min walking), prepare to spend around 300 pesos per day.

"Cueva" room is ok, woody decor, wifi is worst than 3G speed, AC works fine. Shower area could use more lighting and the door is rubbing against wall.

Great place to stay. Very slow service but the fact they have such a great person as the lady in charge of cleaning the rooms. She is amazing

Great individual suites with comfortable king sized beds. Only negative is the hot water is never really hot, warm water was about tge best you could get.
