Free and stunning old covenant. Small enough for a quick visit when in the historic centre of Guadalajara. Worth seeing and rotating art exhibits are interesting too.

It was an convent church with nuns but now it’s a contemporary art museum. Free to get in and rotating exhibits makes it a great place to visit often. Great space and clean restrooms.

This was a nice museum we found, the historic aspect can’t be ignored. It used to be a old convent, you can see where some of the old pillars were. The convent used to extend out into the modern street.

The exhibit we view was very emotional.

The bathrooms are very clean as well.

A historic building that has a couple of exhibits when we visited. You can still see the evidence of the cement arches cut off to make room for the road.

Everytime I have come they are closed because their hours are wrong. When I tried to explain they should fix the hours on Google they went on on how they have it posted in the building and tell me their hours..that was not the point.
Hours are 11 to 5pm

Nice place to get a glimpse of local artist. Place also have a small movie theater but not so sure about schedule and capacity. Better go there to find that out. Location is very convenient to move around to other downtown landmarks. There are some handcraft goods being sell in the area. Good option to have a quiet chat in downtown.
