Positive: Very comfortable and extremely quiet. I liked that the sink was apart from the bathroom.. Negative: The person at the reception desk lacked social skills. He was not rude or disrespectful, but his verbal communication was lacking. Also, the fan in the room was noisy, and the door to the small terrace had a lot of slack which made banging noises when the wind would push it..

Great Place to stay !!!
Near by the cathedral, a lot of restaurants, parks, and museums.
Amazing view from the balcony.
Cheap, clean and comfortable.
I would recommend to have a minisplit in every room.

Positive: Friendly staff. Negative: Despite the fact that the hotel is in a privileged location and a lovely building, the rooms haven’t been upgraded in a while, they were clean (because of the staff) but very very old.

Hotel was built in 1907 and has the oldest working elevator in the region. We felt like we were transported back in time when we walked through the door of this beautifully vintage hotel. My husband and I decided to rent the Pancho Villa room where Villa stayed in 1913. Beautiful room with high ceiling and three large wood framed windows that open up to beautiful views of the Ricardo Castro theater and 20th of November street.

The building is over 100 years old and has been in service as a hotel for 101 years. It's a classical old colonial mansion. Rooms are not what you might call "modern," but they are comfortable. The old style limits privacy as there are ports that open into the main corredor and ours didn't close well. Had issues with hot water.

Location is perfect, right next to the Plaza de Armas u0026 the Paseo Constitución. Dozens of attractions within walking distance.

There's no breakfast. 2000-0800 parking is covered, but you pay day parking ($130mxn as of this). There are other hotels near that offer a better experience at a similar rate.
