Beautiful nicely decorated cafe with good coffee and great wifi. Surprisingly quiet given how nice the place is. Huge shame they serve coffee in takeaway cups with plastic lids even when you say you are eating in. This is a waste of single use plastics, bad for the environment and also is an inferior drinking coffee experience! Much better in a china cup or mug!

Its beautiful old-style decoration makes a cozy atmosphere. Service is great. Place is usually quiet; it has an outdoor patio, which is quiet as well (despite being right by the main avenue).

Menu is terrific for lunch, brunch, or dinner. Coffee is truly fantastic and so are desserts.

And the best of all: prices are accessible. This Cucurumbe, along with the other Cucurumbe cafes, is an icon of the city.

I was here with my boyfriend while walking the downtown area and it is the most comfortable coffee house I found in Durango. The decor is very original with very comfortable chairs and couches. They had a great selection of teas and delicious pastries and deserts. The music is not loud so you can carry on a conversation. There are windows all along the front of the store that remain open in good weather allowing a feeling of being outdoors without actually being outdoors. There are not large buses passing the street so there is not a lot of noise from vehicles. I just loved this place and plant to go back next time I'm in Durango.

Waiter seemed to be too intrusive, could they just get the order and that's it? Oh and Vanilla Iced coffee was superb.
