Took a vacation from my hometown of dalas , Texas and I can say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in chihuahua spent the last week in utter bliss. The rustic Guanajuato take on this boutique hotel is nothing like I’ve ever imagined a dream come true. The rooms are quirky and tasteful with each having their own theme. All amazing and vintage in this historic building dating back to the revolutionary era. The staff is well equipped to quickly tend to your every needs. The hotel is located near many historic and government buildings even an incredible cathedral.

The attention to detail at casa de las hortensias is by far the best part you feel at home as one rightfully should.

Breakfast was an authentic experience we were served a delicious plate of beans and eggs with a side of rice leaving us with nothing but great memories from this establishment, the staff and lastly chihuahua thank you for having us and being such gracious hosts.

(Translated by Google) I made a reservation at this hotel, following the comments of previous guests. But oh disappointment. Rooms poorly lit and dirty, with hair on the floor, dirty hallways and bathroom or say. Oh and to top it off the day I had early departure to the airport, it turns out that there is no water. Comments from the reception guy, yes very friendly, he tells me that they do not have water tanks to supply water to the rooms, due to a change in administration. Without a doubt one of my worst hosting experiences.

(Translated by Google) Lousy breakfast. Nowhere do they deny you coffee. But here you are given a choice. Juice oh coffee. Expensive for what they offer. I paid charisma for my one night stay. 640.00 pesos. It was a robbery.

Pésimo desayuno. En ningún lugar te niegan el café. Pero aquí te dan a escoger. Jugo oh café. Caro para lo que ofrecen. Pague carisma mi estancia de una noche. 640.00 pesos. Fue un robo.

(Translated by Google) The best thing about this hotel is the location in the center of the city of Chihuahua and also the personalized attention they give you; the hotel decoration becomes pleasant. The bad, the room does not have a bathroom where you can have enough privacy, besides that it does not have an exhaust fan; in the room there is also no furniture or place where you can put your suitcase or your clothes; the heater in the room is not enough to heat it; the rate we paid included breakfast, however, in the mornings we fought so that they could offer us a decent breakfast and they offered us what they had left in the kitchen (they did not even have honey for the hotcakes that cost more crepes than anything else).

The hotel is ideal for a one night stay, no more. The concept of a boutique hotel is not clear to me, what is definitive is that this hotel is not.

(Translated by Google) The truth is I made a reservation, based on the images on your website. But oh disappointment. Since the day I arrived in Chihuahua it was late, and what I wanted was to rest, so I no longer looked for other options, since I left very early for the airport the next day. The bed was all squeaking, somewhat dirty, with hair on the floor; the bathroom not to mention, walls in very bad condition, keys and showers as if they had been put by the worst plumber. But even so, as I say what I wanted was to rest and being the only guest, I couldn't do it, because they have very tall bamboo plants and with the wind, they hit a window on the upper floor making a lot of noise. And if there was something missing, the next day I get up at 4:30 am to bathe and it turns out that there is no water, I go to reception and they tell me that they did not have water tanks and they only supplied themselves from the network, and at that time there was no water . I had to get water from the toilet tank, to wash my face and go to the airport, where I was finally able to wash my mouth and rest before the flight. The truth is one of the worst hosting experiences I have ever had. The only good thing, the kindness of the reception guy.
