The Mermaid Hostel DOWNTOWN

Had the most amazing stay at the mermaid hostel. Staff are incredibly kind and friendly. They booked us a tour for the next morning at 11:30pm the night before and woke us up/made us breakfast at 5:30 the next morning. I left my towel by accident when we checked out and a staff member ran down the street to give it back to me :) showers are warm and great location to downtown Cancun. Bus stop close by as well as to ADO bus station! 100 percent recommend :)

Love this hostel. It’s small, simple, and super cute in the center of Cancun. It’s like a 4 min walk from the money exchange and 12 mins from the ADO bus station. The workers were super sweet/funny and just overall so helpful. My friend and I stayed for just one night but we made friends quickly with Vanessa, one of the workers. Thanks for the great night!

Location is ok, fairly long walk from ADO station. Hostel is clean. Mattress in room.was completely collapsed and we were basically laying on the wooden frame boards underneath, super uncomfortable night. Host was fine, upgraded us at no extra charge to room with AC (another issue with booking, was not communicated clearly that our private room was lacking AC). Other than that you get what you pay for!

Friendly staff, good location and very clean. Dorm looks super new and is equipped with an AC that actually works. You get towels and a well equipped kitchen. Big and cheap super market where you can get everything as well as money exchange with fair rates (locals change their foreign tip money here) right around the corner.

Such a Beautiful place with beautiful and welcoming people. I am staying here by accident , because life always take me to the best places. A place that I can call home. Strongly recommended if you are traveling around Mexico. A shining star to the people working there. Always with a smile . Thank you :) I will come back

Good hostel and good staff. I stayed in a private room with ac which made it very nice although the walls are as thin as paper and i could hear everything that happened. They where under construcion so the hammering was noticable. It has a very nice terrace and artwork murals.

Great little hostels that feels like home!
Great staff and perfect area next to many local cheap and delicious mexican restaurants, a supermarket, and main bus lines, all in 5 minutes of walking distance.
In a quite and secure street.

Would definetly come again!
