Having eaten Italian all over the world, this place offers excellent authentic Italian food in a top atmosphere. Keep in mind Americans, the style is more authentic to Italy. They have burrata salad instead of caprese, and the cheese was fantastic. The Carpaccio was excellent, the lobster and pasta with vodka sauce was excellent, the lamb ravioli was excellent. The desserts were excellent. They have aperol and campari. The prices were low to average tourist level for a restaurant of this quality. Final price with three appetizers, two alcoholic drinks, three entrees and three desserts was only $50 per person.

While in Cancun we ate at soo many different places it was hard to keep up. This itilian restaurant is decent very nice atmosphere but the food to me just wasnt all that. It was good but didn't wow me ????????u200d♂️

Paolo has been knocking it out the box with top-notch cuisine since the 90s, and Rafa seems to be learning the ropes nicely. the staff was very helpful and the setting is quite comfortable.

Last week we had:
mushrooms in gorgonzola - outstanding
green salad w/walnuts and goat cheese - good rendition of simple classic
tuna and beef carpaccio - both extremely fresh, with lovely flavors that were accentuated but not overpowered by their respective accompaniments
duck breast in sour orange sauce - phenomenal, duck was perfectly cooked and the sauce was exquisite
seafood lasagna - very harmonious melding of flavors
pasta bolognese - not a bite was left on the plate
guava cake - tremendous flavor, though i like more textural contrast in my desserts usually
blueberry cheesecake - not really a cheesecake person but this one had a superb crust.

The food and service was great, however there was a shooting at the corner and the everyone in the restaurant hit the floor. It was a very scary few minutes. It was not the fault of the restuarant but maybe I best in some bullet proof glass. I won't go back there because of the risk.

Love this place. Very good atmosphere and food. I always get one of the specials when I go here and it hasn't failed me yet. Eggplant lasagna and truffle fusilli are amazing. Whenever we're in Cancun we also make sure to go here!

Great food, atmosphere and service! Good portion sizes too, I normally order appetizers to share and a main dish for myself and it's more than enough.
