Highly recommend Plan B Cancun Fishing Charters
Alberto runs a private and professional yet local feel charter at an affordable rate. He had Roger on board as an extra hand. First class service with fresh drinks.
Our family of four (2 adults and kids 11 and 14) hired Plan B for a half day snorkeling trip and another day to fish.
Plan B knew the spots for a great snorkeling experience especially for my kids who were experiencing snorkeling for the first time! Alberto stayed with the boat while Roger came in the water with us to make sure we felt safe and be there for whatever we needed. They are hooked!
The day we went fishing the seas were a bit rough so they recommended that we didn’t go to far out and we still caught huge barracuda. One of the highlights of our entire vacation was being able to eat some of the barracuda we caught. Alberto hooked us up with a restaurant on the dock that cooked our barracuda into tacos! Amazing. Hands-down the best fish I’ve ever had. I know whatever it is you’re looking for you let them know and they will make it happen.

Highly recommend Plan B Fishing Charters! From the moment I reached out to Captain Albert he did everything he could to make this fishing trip go as smoothly as possible. From quick responses, clear communication, planning the transportation the morning of and handling the transportation time after, it was by far the smoothest easiest fishing trip I’ve ever planned. We decided on the 8 hour trip!

The morning of Captain Albert had transportation pick us up from our hotel, take us to the marina and walked us right in to the boat. We loaded the boat and we were off! He brings along waters, sodas, beer and even brought us a sandwich for lunch!

We stopped on the way out, caught some live bait and headed towards the fish! We started off catching a Tuna, then some Jacks and a Mahi. Well my whole point in fishing in Cancun was to get my fiancé hooked. She wanted to catch colorful fish. The moment I told Captain Albert she wanted to catch a Triggerfish they changed up bait, moved to a new spot and she caught her Triggerfish! We moved around to catch a few more, they made fresh ceviche with our catch on the boat for lunch which tasted amazing, saw a huge school of fish pass under us, cleaned our catch when we got back to the dock and took our food to a local restaurant so they can cook it (up ti you)! If you want a Captain that you can tell puts in the time to reap the reward, enjoys what he does, loves to fish and knows the water really well then Captain Albert is your guy! Very affordable, really down to earth and is going to do everything he can to make sure you have a good time!

In our time on the water we had a great haul!
We caught:
1 Tuna
1 Mahi
4 Jacks
3 Triggerfish
1 Grouper
1 Rainbow Runner

Best fishing trip I’ve ever had, hands down! Will definitely be booking again, but next time not just once!

I booked with Plan B fishing charters after doing much research on TripAdvisor. I must say, I probably made one of the best decisions to go with Plan B Fishing Charters.

Their communication was on point from the time I booked all the way till the day of my fishing trip.

Even due to bad weather and port being closed on my original planned date of fishing, Albert accommodated me for the following day as I really wanted to get out there for deep sea fishing.

All three crew members were extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Captain even had a secret book with his favorite coordinates for fishing spots. Louis/Albert/Jose on board were fantastic and made sure I had a great time while on the boat.

In a span of 4 hours we caught
1 Wahoo 56” (getting it shipped to the US)
2 Black Fin Tuna
1 King Mackeral

We booked a 1/2 day inshore fishing trip with Alberto. He got us on the barracuda. We seen sea turtles, flying fish u0026 enjoyed drinks on our boat ride. Afterwards he took us to a local restaurant where they cooked the fish we caught into tacos u0026 ceviche!!! Best meal we had during our whole trip!!!! We’ve been on a few fishing excursions u0026 this was the 1st time we actually got to eat what we caught!!! SO cool!!!! Definitely recommend!!!

Excellent trip from start to finish. Transportation was easy and the captain and crew were great! We caught 2 sailfish and briefly hooked a white marlin! Very good trip.

Highly recommend Plan B Cancun Charters for your fishing trips in Cancun! Captain Alberto and Roger will make sure you have an amazing fishing experience!

Did a 6 hour offshore run, weather turned out great as it was cloudy and raining during the week. Saw some activity in the water but fish were not biting. Captain Alberto didn’t give up (trolling and jigging) and finally right before going back to the marina snagged an awesome tuna. Had a blast on this fishing trip! Oh, and when we came back to the marina, Captain Alberto got sashimi pieces out of the tuna which were fantastic!

Captain Alberto is great! They worked very hard to get us on the fish, had cold beer on the boat, and as soon as we stepped off the boat they cleaned our fish and took us to the restaurant right by the dock and made sure they cooked our fish in all kinds of delicious ways. Was a blast!
